  1. @Sedge Excellent, hope the testing goes well! Add me to the 12", 1.00 bent list! thanks!
  2. @Sedge Any updates on the production timeline for a radius handle? thanks
  3. Performance Ski & Surf has absolutely the best customer service! Thanks, Bill & Mike!
  4. Praying for your quick recovery!
  5. @SedgeAre radius handles in the queue? Need a new one before spring:) thanks!
  6. @Lakeefect, I sent TT Admin a message with your email and the initial response you received. Hopefully, they will get back to you soon. I use the Team Talk site often for troubleshooting issues with our 2005 PS197TT. As folks have already said, a wealth of info is available to include inputs from a couple of mechanics who used to work for MasterCraft.
  7. @r-maniak In case you didn't know, Denali has a 2-week demo program; check out the "C85 news" page on their website. Additionally, they are super helpful in "dialing in" your new ski! https://denaliskis.com/blogs/news

  9. Also blocked using your "BOS Shirts - Official Store" link above... about:blank#blocked. Looks like you can get in by using one the shirt links above...
  10. Time to replace the battery in our 2005 PS197; amazingly, it lasted 6 years! Unfortunately, that brand is no longer made or I would buy another one! Thoughts on replacing with an AGM battery? Can they be used in our type of boats...besides cost, any other pros and cons? thanks
  11. Another “Shout Out” @mike_mapple at Perf Ski! An overlay on a new set of bindings tore where it was sewn together; noticed it after the 3rd set. Mike was all over it! Coordinated with the manufacturer that day and had a new overlay 2-day expressed to me. Super responsive! Thanks, Mike!
  12. Bump…I had a nagging on & off right shoulder rotator cuff injury for the past year; 66 yrs old; MRI showed no tears. Had PT for 3 months at the end of 2020, felt great, but now the discomfort is back. No sharp pains, but can tell it’s not right. Normally ski one set 3 to 4 times a week. Just started running back-to-back 32 offs and was planning to start working on 35s. Took the last week off...did more band work and tennis ball pressure on the sore area. Looking for an update from anybody that uses the shoulder sphere (past or present) and would recommend it or have any other ideas…thanks!
  13. Denali C85 arrived Monday; no sets yet; double digit winds/white caps all day, all week...argh!
  14. Bump, since it’s been a year, unless I missed a more current thread…looking for the best turn buoy option...cost, color retention, longevity, safety - Did Polyform, $6.55 per, fix the bad batch issue? Color retention better? - Is there a consensus on which color is easier to see, red or orange; or maybe one color better for different light conditions; e.g., overcast vs sunny skies - Do both colors fade equally or one faster than the other - Do most tournaments use Polyforms for turn buoys; if so, which color - Is the current consensus that Wally buoys, $18.50 per, are still the best color retention buoy? - What about KD or any other buoy manufacturer; any feedback on longevity and color retention? Thanks!
  15. Same symptoms with ZO off? Or maybe the pedal position sensor in the throttle assembly is going bad? If it is similar to the one MasterCraft uses, apparently you can take it apart and clean the contact portion on the sensor or just buy a new one ($80) vs the whole throttle assembly that MasterCraft suggests for $650...see this thread LONG LINK TO TEAM TALK

    PP upgrade?

@bdecker…we have the same boat, 2005 MC PS197 TT, and upgraded it to z-box (ver 8.05) earlier this summer. My ski buddy owns a SN196 with ZO; we ski behind both boats weekly. Our z-box reacts and feels exactly as his ZO. Z-box has multiple settings/adjustments that allow the user to tweak the system’s response to match the feel and pull of ZO. We couldn't be happier with this upgrade. As a side note, as soon as you upgrade to SG, there’s no requirement to set winds, skier weight, etc, and realistically you can leave the crew weight alone unless you are on a very short setup.
  17. This parasite is always a concern in Florida's lakes during the hot summers, but can also be found in under-chlorinated pools. Our school system hands out a Health Advisory bulletin prior to the summer break reminding everyone of the potential dangers of the Naegleria parasite. Their Health website also has a write up...see attached.
  18. @Bruce_Butterfield, what did you use to attach the pet screen to your handle? Any pics? tks, mac
  19. @greghind, we have vers 8.0 installed on our 2005 MC DBW 5.7L; works great, in course buoy times are .03 or less; the only issue is an overshoot of the initial baseline rpm when pulling up a skier; in the CAL mode, no overshoot issues; but in the GPS SLALOM mode, when you set a skier weight, L, N, etc it overshoots by 600 rpms or so before settling back to the baseline setting. Not a big deal per se, but sometimes challenging on our short set up to have the speed settled before the timing buoys. Based on your experience, any suggestions? I've lowered and raised the baseline, but it doesn't seem to help. How critical is the Z-box being perfectly level in the boat? Do you level it with the boat floating or on a plane? tks, mac
  20. @horton, tks for the tutorial on loading pics, maybe we can save that to the FAQ section. I believe I finally resolved the Google Chrome issue of not being to see any pics at all on your new threads; Chrome has a Ad Block Protection feature that was active on my computer. I selected that icon (ABP) and found an option link that had your BoS link in a blocked filter for some reason. Deleted your link from that filter and now can see pics again! Just to clarify I am seeing what everyone else is, ref the new "Straight Leg" thread, I see 2 pics from @ozski, but they are small. Is there any way to to enlarge? Double clicking on them did nothing...tks, mac
  21. @horton, big thanks, this is "hurting" my head; other forums, like MasterCraft Teamtalk, seem to work OK...appreciate the help, mac
  22. I can see pics on some threads , but not on others; some pics are small and will not double click to enlarge, some pics are already large...running Windows 7, Google Chrome on a relatively new laptop. For example, using Chrome, the thread "Ski photos that just make me happy," it appears all the those pics are there and large; Horton's Centurion and First pics of my new Prostar thread, I do not see any pics; Get to know your TGAS, can see one large pic and Wish's recent video upload. I tried using IE11, I can see very small pics on the threads I mentioned above, but they to do not enlarge. Thanks for any help, mac
  23. See what the pros say... http://www.waterskimag.com/features/2013/11/05/talk-to-the-pros-which-zero-off-letter-are-you/?cmpid=enews111313&spMailingID=18116586&spUserID=NDY0MzEwNTYzNQS2&spJobID=237325201&spReportId=MjM3MzI1MjAxS0
  24. @brewski, does the law allow you to give your Noose Eliminator away at no charge? Recipients will most likely want to make a donation to you for your time & "safety" concerns/efforts...
  25. as suggested by @mattp, I deleted the cookies and recent browing history and it fixed the "forum" loading problem; strange thing is I do this "cleaning" function often and prior to this time all the other web sites I visit worked fine...got to love computers!
