  1. Not much competition for Mati Gonzalez in that first trick round.
  2. @Horton, this is why the divisions are named XX+. XX and older.
  3. Have skied in West Palm (Hobe really) with a neo top with no temp issues, but fewer days than what I would have liked to because of the wind. Back to summer next week.
  4. @Dano Arm came thru the open slid and up to the shoulder, then the protection edge cut thru the upper arm when the pull from the boat came, and ripped off the full biceps down. This accident and some other knowledge on arm accidents involving handle protectors were contributors to the IWWF approval as I understand
  5. I saw the result of an accident with a commercial plastic handle guard. It was not good at all.
  6. Theraband Flexbar.
  7. I would imagine he had to do some severe edge tuning to get that old ski working for his skiing style. Wait... This not even 32MPH slalom video, it is 30MPH. So it just doesn't deliver a great example of good slalom skiing because of the slushy response from the ski. Like racing on a road track with low tire pressure. Or not? I am confused now. Sorry... I could not resist.
  8. For sure you can take a ski that allegedly does not work for you that is two generations old now and tweak it to make it better for your particular skiing style, reducing its resell value a lot and spending several hours in the process. Or you could trade it for a newer generation one (ION & ION 2), that have hundreds of hours of expert R&D and world-class testing on them, and see if it works better (which has been the case for all skiers I know that have upgraded their EVOs). I guess it all depends on the pleasure derived from the tweaking process and placebo effect v/s the pleasure of more probable better skiing out of the box with the newer versions.
  9. @Horton, thanks for the trick table!
  10. Updated Trick points table. They are in the Rulebooks, but come handy.
  11. @Jody_Seal, we got the new kit. How long should a competent technician take to do the conversion/installation? Thanks!
  12. Got now the bad news from the mechanic, the transmission is dead. We will need a new one. @Jody_Seal, they do sell spare parts for the 80?
  13. Not the reply I was hoping for... But I guess there is a strong possibility of it being the case.
  14. We have an issue with our 2015 Nautique 200, PCM 5.7 engine. Out of the blue, reverse does not engage. Forward works well. As there was a low oil level, we filled with fluid, but the problem persists. Any ideas or hints? I was told that there are no parts available for this transmission, so anything major would mean a transmission replacement. Thanks!
  15. ..and a long drought, expensive repairs, a global pandemic - for naming a few - we reopened our lake, Chacabuco. There is nothing like skiing at home!!! IMG_2880.mov
  16. "The new ski will feel better than anything you have tried before, will look like the one that will take you to the next level... until the ski realizes who is riding it..."

  18. Because the scoring software shows it by default. If you see the tournament page, you would notice that there is not an Overall Team classification link in the left section. Also, you can notice that the Overall is a separate tournament.
  19. There is no waterski team placement at the PanAms, it is a multi-sport event like the Olympics, where countries win based on gold medals. So the choice makes all sense from a Team USA perspective.
  20. @rayn, at PanAm Games, the maximun number of skiers per country is 4, and USA has Regina, Anna, Erika and Nate.
