  1. Both those look great, but I'm trying to keep the whole package to $250 or less if possible. Hoping to buy one from someone who's kids are moving up to the next size.
  2. Since others are posting here, if anyone has a 63"/64" jr ski they are looking to unload. My kids are light (14 and only 100lbs) and is getting up on one after being on combos. Likely not running the course anytime soon, but just want something that will give them more confidence going across the wake.
  3. Clutch gloves are sold. I forgot to add I also have a Hyperlite 65 Degree "heater" top, size L, brand new with tags, Digger color. I just tend to reach for my shorty instead of this. $35 shipped.
  4. I got a 1.5mm LS Hyperlite top, brand new I would sell you. $40 shipped. 74* is the warmest I get all year and since I am usually skiing early before work, I just use a wetsuit.
  5. I have a few things for sale. I can get pictures of the gloves or bag if needed. 69" HO Nitro in good shape. Currently has double HO Animal XL LFF, but can swap on double Radar Rail bindings in good shape. The ski has one blem where one of the screw taps on the front binding is broken and a screw is drilled directly into the ski. This was done by the HO factory. Ski includes HO Global Skier bag for the ski. Asking $225. If my pricing is off, please let me know. HO Clutch glove, size L. Only worn once. Sold HO Element glove, Size XL. Only worn one. $20 shipped Older HO fully padded ski bag. Size 63"-66". $20 shipped.
  6. I think these are the ones that replace the approach. New for 2012 http://www.thewakehouse.com/2012-ho-attack-waterski-binding/
  7. No, it is their Wake Ski binding. Don't think you would want to use it for slalom.
  8. I can't speak for the Vectors since I am just getting them now, but I have been on Radar Rails for the past 2 years. The Vector replaced the Rail and is supposed to be a bit higher cuff and a bit stiffer. Both get universally high grades here on BOS, though many prefer the Strada. I switched to the Rails from Animals. Animals are still great. I never had a problem with them and felt they gave great support. I really like the front lace bindings like the Rail and Vector as I can get in them without juice and they are super comfortable. I have also skied Wiley's in the past and have friends who still swear by them. It kind of depends on what you are looking for. Forgot to mention for others that they also have HO Exo system bindings as part of the sale. Don't think you will find them anywhere for close to this price unless you have an HO hookup.
  9. I know BOS has a deal with Marine Sports, but this deal was just too good not to share. Active Wake is having 40% off everything through Labor Day using code FF40. I just picked up some Radar Vector Boots (only XL available) with aluminum frames for $100 each. They have Strada and Vice skis as well, but no Strada boots. Handles, gloves, vests, wetsuits, it is all 40% off. I picked up some Radar Vice gloves as well for $36. Free shipping and no tax. I have no affiliation with them, just stoked to score a pair of bindings I have been looking at for way less than I expected to spend. Good luck scoring some deals of your own.
  10. Thanks, Wish. That is what I figured. Anyone know anyplace that sells the V for less than waterskis.com? With a 5% off coupon it comes in under $300 with free shipping.
  11. Hey, I saw that video of the 8 year old ripping it up. Maybe I need the bigger ski. I know don't really need a performance ski (I am an open water skier), that is why I thought of the 69" CoX SL as it the larger size would provide some extra forgiveness. I am also close to borderline on size (6'1" and 195lbs). I have a friend at HO so they end up the same price for me. I have been on a 2009 67" Senate C for the past two seasons and it just feels a bit too small for me. Plus I want to see if the step bottom tech is really where it is at.
  12. I have thought of the V as well. How does it compare to the CoX? I know it is a little wider. I was debating between a 67" V and a 69" CoX SL. 195# and mostly ski 32-34 mph.
  13. Should I assume the lack of responses mean the Sector is not any good?
  14. I am looking to replace a pair of Radar Rail bindings. I am looking for something similar and have read a lot about the Radar Vector, which looks like the prime contender. I have not been able to find much info on the Obrien Sector, which looks pretty similar. I am basically looking for a lasted boot that is a little higher, lighter, and stiffer than the Rail and wonder how the Sector compares to the Vector. I can get the Sectors for about $30 cheaper per boot than the Vectors, which plays a role as well. If there are other ones I should look at a well in the same price range, let me know. I am just an open water skier who only goes in a course once a year or so.
  15. Simojo, Is the Theory about the same width of the Nitro?
  16. I have been on a 69" HO Nitro with double Animals for the past few years and am looking at getting a new ski. I have since lost some weight and am looking to size down to a 67" ski. I have always liked how smooth and stable the Nitro is. I pretty much only open water ski at 32-34 mph and only get into a course 1-2 times a year. What skis available now are similar to the Nitro for the open water skier? Is the Coefficient X the model the replaced it with? Is the Nitro closer to the Senate or the Theory? Any help is appreciated.
  17. Is there an official name for the ski or is it called Stada 55? I was going to ask a dealer here about it and didn't want to sound stupid. Also, I am looking at the Senate C and potentially one of these. I am a 34mph skier, mostly longer lengths, but looking to go shorter. What are the main differences between the skis?
