  1. I had the Boost and didn't like it. Too baggy, and was a bear to get up in. Felt like it had a ton of drag. I went to the Hybrid. I like this suit alot more and yes I do get a little wet but it worked in water temps just above freezing. My wrist cuffs have since split and I am back in the market for a dry suit. There are alot of guys using the OS Systems dry suit here and they like them over the boost because they are a thinner, lighte weight material. I may give this one a try next. http://www.ossystems.com/surface/dwb.html
  2. I want 4 of them! Let me know how.
  3. I think Richard should be the one to open a proshop. Holly smokes dude, you have alot ski stuff!
  4. I like it but, I think it could be better if there was a button that would bring up a page with all the new posts or topics.
  5. Hate the displays. They will be a major pain in the a$$ down the road. I had the stupid Mux switches on my 08 Repsonse LXi and those only worked half the time. I love the way the Mastercraft still has normal switches and dedicated guages that don't ever have problems.
  6. Jodi, I disagree with you on the TXi seat. Even with the new windshield my head is sticking up above the windshield. The TXi at our lake has a couple pieces of C-channel or something like it and if it was my boat I would be putting the seat flat on the floor so my head is not in the wind.

  8. Is ZO affected by a new prop. I wouldn't think so since its not RPM based but this is a grey area for me.
  9. still not working for me either. IE with W7
  10. Yep, I really want to go to this tournament next year.
  11. It was Active Water Sports online store: www.activewake.com Seems its not functioning right now. There was a discount code that you had to enter. FF40 or something like that. Look in some other threads on BOS for the discount code.
  12. I missed the open division tonight. Who won?
  13. I watched a ton of the webcast yesterday, it was awesome! I will be there live and in person next year for sure. It's a done deal! Greg Badal knows how to but on a tournament! The webcast was so good, I can't believe how well done it was. Tons of skiers on the HO A2 and S2 too.
  14. I've been on a 68" Strada for the last two seasons. I picked up a 68" Vice during AWS 40% off sale for $400. My intention was to give this to my dad to try and entice him to get back on the water. I jumped on the Vice three days ago and I matchd my PB on my first set with it. I ski 36 mph, and have been getting into 4 and 5 ball at 32 off. This ski feels very close to my Strada but it feels like it gets more angle out of the ball and the ski rides deeper in the water at the ball. The turn feels better to me, I feel more confident that I can take the ski into the ball fast and its not going to blow out. Tonight was another great couple sets, ran the first set; 15, four 22s, two 28s and 3 at 32. So far, the VICE kicks ASS!
  15. From what I have heard it sounds better than a 196.
  16. RD, are you watching? Build it and I will come ski! :)
  17. Do you have your new boat? If so post some pictures.
  18. It works if you un-check the box that KEEPS ME SIGNED IN, then you have to sign in every time you come to the site
  19. Scarlet, That must be a non cat motor. That thing sounds strong and throaty.
  20. I would think just the motor/trans and computer would cost $10K or more. Then the rest of the boat would maybe be 15 to 20K to finish. Add in the trailer, and profit needed to keep the doors open and the dealers profit and it looks like it puts your right at the 45K mark.
  21. So, now that this boat has been around for season. What does everyone think, is the boat a world class tow boat, is the fit and finish good, does it drive as good or better than others? I've seen some pictures somewhere of a red Carbon Pro and the boat had a teak look to the floor and on the platform that made it look great. Has anyone seen this in person?
  22. Lundberg, That is a great story and thanks for sharing it. We are about the same age (kind of, I'm 32), anytime you want to come down south to Woodland give me a call and lets get you in the course again at Mint Lake.
