  1. I use the Radar Vapor with the upper cuff removed. I have been on this type for several years. It gives me security and comfort.
  2. I will be there Saturday and Sunday. Working with the Safety Crew for the Jump Finals.
  3. Good on the Michigan Water Ski Association to provide AED's. We have a local skier that has their own AED and has made it available for local tournaments and even regionals in the past. I am going to ask our local federation, (Washington and Oregon) to purchase a couple of them. And to all that helped that day a big attaboy. I truly believe you will never forget your first code. For me personally it was on Christmas day and watching someone go from Dead to breathing on their own after six rounds of CPR and one shock with the AED was life changing.
  4. We had a Class C tournament yesterday went old school with hand scoring. It went well. This weekends Class L. Not sure how we are going to get Surepath, Water Ski Connect and WSTIMs to work. We may be back to end course video.
  5. Seattle Boat Company has joined as a webcast sponsor. https://www.seattleboat.com/
  6. Basta Boat lifts has joined as a webcast sponsor! https://bastaboatlifts.com/
  7. @jjackkrash The Amateurs will be on the webcast Sunday morning before the Pro final.
  8. @Kelvin if you get to town early enough, there is a 3 round ;Slalom tournament at BROHO on Wednesday afternoon. Come join us I am sure @RichardDoane will get you in the tournament.
  9. @Booze @LeonL no diss intended, just pointing out the names I saw and recognized. Booze congrats on the Podium finish!
  10. The Men 5 skied well today, it took a full pass @ -38 to make the podium. It was very cool seeing names I recognize from Ball of Spray. @Bruce_Butterfield and @liquid d.
  11. @foxriverat I have been on the new Radars with the Radar plate for most of this season. The release is the same with one caveat. The older version, I felt like the bottom half (with the BOA) could not be over tightened and the release was controlled buy the upper lace. The new Binding with the Hard shell lower can be over tightened. I get it snug then tighten further in small increments testing the release as go by attempting to pull my foot out. I love the new bindings and in my opinion they are the best bindings on the market.
  12. I somehow got an appointment to bring it in. The service person also said because it wasn't throwing any codes I am ok to keep using it until the appointment. I changed the plugs yesterday. While they had plenty of life left, $87 for a full set made it an easy decision. It is the 6.0. Thanks for all the input.
  13. @ScottScott 364. I am guessing that is spark plugs. what else?
  14. I have a yellow Triangle on my Screen. When I turn the boat on I get the dealer service required message. Does anyone know how to find out what the issue is without going to the dealer? The dealer in my area is impossible to reach by phone and a service appointment is even worse. I am hoping it is something simple, the boat needs to pull a tournament next week.
  15. @Horton is that code for I don't have a driver?
  16. @lundberg we will be at Ski Park this afternoon, come down and join us.
  17. It looks like the connection to the center hoop on the long pole moved and is most of the problem. My guess is a set screw holds them in place. Loosen the set screws and push it back into place. You have nothing to lose at this point and it may work.
  18. @ALPJr My take is, the ski tip inside the buoy would displace it outward. To have the buoy re-appear while completing the turn, inside of the ski, in this case at his front binding he had to be still traveling outward for this to happen. In the split second that it takes to round a buoy @ 41 I don't believe that a displaced buoy would have time to pop back up inside of the ski unless the ski / skier is still traveling outbound of the buoy line. This would be a great video to add to the senior judge test. Do I think some one could see this from either tower, no. The boat judge maybe.
  19. 3, got his ski around the ball and back in skiing position before the next set of boat guides.
  20. I agree this is an overreach and could have an adverse effect on the number of Judges available to put on tournaments. I went to the Website to see how the process was setup and pulled the info shown below, it is effectively a prequalification saying if any of these apply to you, you will be disqualified. We may not be able to reverse this in the short term but as a Regional council person in the Western Region, I will continue the discussion at our upcoming meetings. 21. I was of the opinion that he had served his time as prescribed by SafeSport and that he should be allowed to continue to make a living, as @scuppers said the NFL, NBA etc... is full of "reformed" athletes. I had also heard that he was a very humble and down to earth person. I would ask anyone who thinks this to watch the video of the awards ceremony at the Hilltop ProAm. He was asked to put on tournament sponsors hat while on the podium. The look on his face and refusal to put on the hat was enough for me to know the type of person he Truly is.
  22. I had the same problem with my Ilmor 6.0, it was the pressure relief at the back of the motor. Not sure if the PCM is the same but worth a look.
  23. That thing has gotten in my head so bad that I don't even want to ski when it is used at tournaments. The good / bad news there is only one in my area so it doesn't happen often.
  24. @NateSmith43 gets a Dislike for not wearing the Miles hat and a big thumbs up to Jaime Bull for wearing hers!
