Oh ok, I remember an article about it in WSM years back. Very cool, make sense that its kind of funky, I remember that it was an existing swamp or lake.
I saw the home lised on SIA. Looks amazing. But lake looks a bit funky and narrow. Anyone know this place?

That boat is priced about double what its worth. You can find a low hour great condition 98 response for about $1000 less. The pictures alone tell you how neglected it was. I wouldnt buy that boat for $5000. Never know , someone may pay it!
is this guy? I want to know what he's on cause I want some! I hope the Poster wasnt a marketing or adverstising grad.

I dont have any experience with this boat, but the Malibu FXI seems like a larger boat than most tournament ski boats that may work you . No longer produced though so you would have to find a used or left over.

@otisg yes that was mine. It was a beautiful boat , but I could not get it top perform well for me for slalom at my level. One of my biggest pet peeves about it was the rub rail always falling off. I ended up screwing it down in a few places to stop it from happening. Someone got a great deal at $16K

Probably not but I sold the 2008 Sv one for $16000. That's how much it sucked ! If it was so awesome like others have stated, why is it not still around ? Plain and simple the hull design sucked. It was cool looking and fast as hell. Mine was equipped with the PCM 330ex. But other than that it blows. The wake at 15-28 was only part of it's suckness. I've skied many a boat and the only wake that was even close to size and hardness was an 02 sport nautique. The boat is awkward to drive and pain to trailer on and off. If anyone wants details I'm happy to enlighten.
The ad doesn't seem typical of scam, so I am leaning towards misprint. Even with the issues mentioned its a great deal. I emailed already to get the LD.

Anyone know of a place in Sacramento area, preferrably near Roseville/Rocklin that repairs seals. I thought all four were bad so was planning on a new one. Turns out only the ankle ones are bad. I'm hoping to have it for the weekend too so sending it out may not be a solution.
I dont have anything against a cable park, in fact I want to try it out when it opens. The sad part though is that 20 families used to ski there and had go else where. The way they built it made it impossible to ski a course on the lake as well. It worked out for me as I really like the club I am at now . Probably wouldnt ever have skied a tournament if I hadn't joined Pleasant Oaks.
Its used to be Stillwater ranch, then Locust Lakes and now Wake Island. It's just outside of Roseville in Pleasant Grove. Don't know how they got thru the permitting.
The lakes were sold . New owner put in a cable park. It was a great site. Unfortunately that lake is now ruined for skiing as they put in a divider splitting the lake into two. I believe one of the lakes is still being used as slalom lake, however Dirt might be the last member left!
yes wet suit for sure, dry suit maybe. That time of year you will pretty much have the lake to yourself. I always seem to find the best water on the Pitt River and Squaw Creek. But watch out for hazards, water probably low.
