I agree with @Joeprunc. I don't think wakeboarders really need awsa. Allowing them to compete in the trick event and using non weighted boats isn't going to attract too many. I think its a great idea, but most man made ski lakes are just too small ( short and shallow) . I couldn't imagine dropping a G23 in our lake !! Maybe if you build it , they will come! The new boat is so different looking, maybe not everyone will like it. It may keep the 197 re sale from dropping .

Don't know why you would want one. Worst boat ever ! I rather quit skiing than ski one again. Tracks terribly , very weight sensitive , wake hard as granite , rub rail always falls , nose heavy around island causing spray all over windshield , hard to trailer and ugly as sin.

I'm planning on skiing my first INT this coming weekend. Not to sure what to expect. Coordinater told me I would just ski and they would place me in the proper division . Anyone ski these events before ? I forget to ask how many rounds.

Are they traveling with a mechanic and a trailer full of replacement parts ? If one of those MC's breaks down , it would not show well!

I can't stand more than anything people that won't take responsibility for their own actions and the lawyers who sue over it. If I decided to get all fookered up , ski and as a result injure myself , it's my fault , not the lake , the lake owners, the driver or manufacture of the boat. Unfortunatley not everyone thinks this way. I feel for the boy that lost his life over the teak surfing ordeal. But how does anyone in their right mind think that letting their child body surf the wave behind a boat with no life jacket is a smart thing to do. Boy passed out from co and drowned. Father sues boat manufacturer. Common !
