  1. I was at the factory not long ago and there were no finished carbon pros there. Bummed as I wanted to see one. Was not there boat shopping but for work. I sell adhesives and my company is looking into manufacturing bonding adhesive for the marine industry. Anyway there was one carbon pro there . It was obviously getting some r&d work to it. I was told then a redesign was in the works. I don't see why they would rename it a supreme. Doesn't really matter though. They build both lines side by side in the same building. From what I was told the majority of the money savings in the supreme was in the stereo systems and ballast.
  2. I like the open bow as it's easier to launch / trailer boat by myself and not get wet. Still do it with my closed bow , but I'm always nervous I'll slip on the hood or nard myself on the windshield !
  3. Icbw but I think when compared to the txi , the LXR was only a few thousand less. So probably not worth it. But now that they didn't sell , there are big discounts to be had.
  4. I wasn't really considering one as potential next boat , but there are some deals on brand new leftover 2015s. I know it's pretty much a resurrected Resoonse LX with walk thru. Anyone that has one not the lx but LXR have any input on them ? Thanks. !!
  5. @swc5150 I took a look online at the purple one . I like it ! As someone in the market right now I would consider it if it wasn't so far from me.
  6. It would be great to have a course on Folsom. But there is really no place to put one other than a 5 mile zone. The only cove I know of that would work gets shallow early on. I used to put a portable in and ski early weekdays . I got ticketed by the sheriff for obstructing a water way. Never did it again.
  7. @escmanaze Numbers I got on the strip down version 2017 TXI open bow are not low. Right in line with MC and CC.
  8. Is the redesign of the rear deck going to delay production models? Or is the current version avail now in USA ?
  9. Saw this processes in person a few backs. Very cool to see. From what I saw , pretty sure carbon pro is here to stay
  10. Sounds awesome . I'd love to hit up a winter waterski trip. But my wife would kill me if it wasn't a family trip. Acapulco is not kid friendly. Is waterski Costa Rica ? Dont they offer non skier packages ? Couldn't find info on website
  11. I need to find a way to ski more than 4 passes a set. Rarely can I get in 6. Problem I have is my rear foot cramps up to point that I can no longer ski. Sometimes I pull my foot out for a bit to rest. But putting the binding back on in the water is a pain and doesn't help. It's not binding size as I already use a size larger than I can fit in. If I go larger I cannot ski. Have tried a variety of other systems but the only bindings that I can ski well on are the d3 leverage. It's been a awhile since ive experimented and have not tried any new systems. Hopefully 2017 I will find something.
  12. 15-28 on normal set. Can't say about current MC or Bu as have not skied behind them. I do think it's a bit softer than the nautique. But would buy a 200 no problem. Just so pricey !
  13. It's not just the price , it has a fantastic wake at my line lengths !
  14. @bananaron you cannot switch back to slalom easily with the pole . Especially with a Bimini top. Takes time to remove.
  15. Ha ! Not a fan either but looking for the kids and barefooting. The MC and BU look good but would like to weigh out other options. Hoping to get a ZO boat soon as my cc is getting up there in hours but still strong.
  16. My house Somewhere in Northern California.
  17. Did not find any on google search. Anyone put a tower on a carbon pro that looks good ?
  18. @MS Oh my gosh ! You live there on purpose ?? I got the chills just looking at that ! Lol
  19. I hope it doesn't turn into a rice field like the lake some miles north. What a shame !
  20. Not a bad price considering what you get. In 1.5 mil Bay Area that would get you a shack. I've flown over and driven past it but never been there. If one could sell memberships or run a ski school that would defiantly help offset the cost. Of course you need the cheddar to get in there first !
  21. I had a 2000 MB. Really well built. Decent bump at 22.
