Does anyone remember, or hopefully have access to, the write-up someone made (I think it was a T-shirt for a while) that was all of the thoughts that go through our heads during a slalom pass? It was like fin adjustments, tacos for dinner, Corona sounds good, oh shit that's 5 ball, etc. Any help appreciated. It was a classic.

If none of those get it out completely, carburetor cleaner will. Just be careful.

I ran sort of a rough opening pass last year at Regionals. Greg Badal was the driver, he idled up to me and said "What the f___ was that?"

@Drago Actually yes Carter has skied way more in Alaska than elsewhere. Just started at ASU and won the frigid Regionals! Thanks @eleeski .

2019 SN, just put 20% ballast in the port side, does not seem to affect the wake and rides flat.

My understanding is that the 2 versions enter the course at slightly different speeds, regardless of + setting. So if you ski tournaments, your timing would be off. Bad info?

5 skiers from Alaska competed in the 2018 Western Regionals. Combined we took home 7 medals; 8 if you count my 4th place out of 5 skiers in Men 4 trick... Great job Alaskans: Carter Eaton Boys 3, Gage Jarvis Men 1, Bob McVitty Men 7 and Amy Scharpf Women 3!

I will be in Dallas watching my son play in the U16 National Hockey Tournament. Wondering if I should bring my ski? Anyone have a hook up? I live and ski in Alaska, and have a place in Arizona at San Tan for a return favor some day. Be happy to pay the going rate for skiing. I'm a level 8 skier M4 and a driver. Any help appreciated.

Been having good luck with a poly glove liner ($3 at a safety type store). They dry quickly, last a long time and protect very well.

O'neill is coming out with a full neoprene drysuit in 3mm that you might like. I sent my hybrid suit back to them this fall and was told that suit is discontinued, replaced by the full neoprene. We shall see.

@OB1 Did you just cut down your R-style rear? Also, did you put a shim under the rear to match height of the front? I'm on Reflex and R-style, contemplating the change... Looks safer.

Anyone using this setup? My son wants to try and make this work as the Reflex shells don't fit him well, loves the PS but tired of tape. Since I will be paying and supervising thought I'd try and not "reinvent the wheel". There is a picture of this on the web (link below), not sure where it came from. Earlier this season I tried several different settings, same day, same conditions, same rope length (-28). Interesting; I normally ski B1, told driver go to A1. During the pass I thought "Oh ya, I can tell it's coming on a bit later, feels good, maybe I'll change to A and it will make me more patient". Got to the end of the lake and driver (my smart-ass kid) told me "that was C1"... Hmmm. Then I skied a bunch more passes with random settings, and tried to guess what they were after the pass. I never got it right. Just sayin'. Maybe more noticeable with less rope? Heading to AZ this weekend will try some different settings at -35 and report back.
