All fin settings are stock except wing is 7 degrees. Our water is now 74 degrees.

Anyone have fin settings for 67" original Neo ski? I generally use short and deep. Front Reflex heel to ski tail is 29 7/8". Unable to keep cross course angle as compared to Ion.

Jobe zipper bindings. My wife's favorite. Blue CASAD gloves. Simple and great grip. Ski Limited buoys. I have 5 that must be 15+ years old and use every year.

Completing 4th season on Reflex System. When first received I used red loctite on all screws thru plate. Screws are checked when remounting to ski and have never loosened. After each season binding is removed and release tension screw loosened three turns. Every spring 750 is checked and tightened 3 turns (setting is 5.5). Then I screw binding plate to wood 2 X 12 with screws and fender washers. I place foot in boot and boot in binding and release 5 - 6 times. Having confidence system is correct binding is then placed onto ski. Procedure go back to testing snow skis bindings, but snow ski bindings rear release use four screws not the two on waterskis. I don't like putting that much pressure on waterski screw inserts.

In Washington the Governor won't let me take out my bass boat, no reason to think he will let me use my ski boat!

The KD Platinum is great. Had my 67" in the course for the first time and it finishes a turn better than any ski I can remember. This year I skied a 2017 HO VTR and a 2017 Goode REV 6. With the KD its nice to have real speed (controlled) cross course and doesn't feel like your pulling an anchor. Also, deep water starts are as easy as a Goode!

Ski was a 67" NRG and water was about 80 degrees. With the deeper fin it continued out to the buoy line a little better.

I am surprised the NRG isn't getting more attention. This year I started on a Nano One then went to a 2017 HO V Type R. I have had the opportunity to try for several days a D3 ARC, Goode Rev 6 and the D3 NRG. I really like the NRG. You always have the feeling its right underneath you with no surprises. People talk about it being a "tailrider" ski and it will not penalize you there but you are better off up on the balls of your feet. More so than any ski this year it allows you to concentrate on technique during the pass. I adjusted the fin long and shallow and short and deep and the ski just works. I ended up at 6.884, 2.505 & .745. I always thought the Nano One was the easiest ski to get up on but the NRG is even easier.

Had this on skis for more than a dozen years, except three years on hard shells. Get lot of looks on the dock but works great, step into water off platform with foot in front boot then slide rear into toe loop grab ski by fin and easily slide forward. I had a rubber wedge under rear for a while but was exactly wrong thing to do.

Last year Sept.30 second pass in first set of day hit shore backwash immediately after ball 3 and went OTF. 34 MPH and 32 OFF. Came out of rear boot and partially out of front. Lower laces were snug (bungee not stretched) and I had heard about over tightening problems on upper so I pulled keeper all the way to end and put a knot about 3" down from keeper, they were loose. I always soaped my feet. My mistake was having a toe lift under the intuition liner, between the liner and the shell. It was there so I would load the front of my ski quicker and also level my foot position because I had superfeet in the front boot. In my opinion never put anything under the intuition liner. It took a plate and 13 screws to put my tibia and ankle back together, on crutches four months. Never put anything under the liner. They always released until they didn't.

ShaneH, thanks for the input. It seems the fin on my (other) Strada is .070 too far back. Do you know the EZ Fin Tool adjustment figures for a Goode 9800 or an HO A1?Â

The .634 was measured using my EZ Fin Tool. Without it we're only guessing at the DFT measurement on a Strada.

I too am having trouble since the water warmed up and thought I would try ShaneH's settings on my 67" Strada. My ski has the black fin. The length and depth settings are achievable but I am unable the get the DFT down to .558. The shortest I can move my fin back is .634. I have more slot left in the ski but the fin is hitting something. Possible the allen head screws.

Last September I ordered a Strada boot right foot forward size 10. My shoe size is 9 1/2 and these boots run small. The boot was ordered direct from Radar and when asked Radar included the single plate. With the help of Intuition Liners, Vancouver BC and their customer service I was able to get the liner molded to my foot. I previously used a 2007 Approach mounted on a Radar double plate. To enable the rear boot to be mounted I ordered a rear plate from Wileys. I was only able to ski the boot about 15 sets but have been pleased. I do notice the Strada boot keeps a nice knee bend while cutting across the wakes. The boot is easy on but a little work to remove after you drop into the water because I tuck the elastic cord around the back then under the laces so it doesn't flop around. Yes, I do soap this binding and when inserting your foot must be careful not to bunch the footbed forward. I do have a continuing problem, after a couple sets I have to remove the binding, losen the screws holding the boot to the plate then rotate the boot clockwise. I have the boot and plate marked and the boot moves 1-2 degrees counterclockwise (left). I do not want to tighten the screws any tighter. Anyone else having this problem?
