  1. I bought a used pick up truck tool box. Works great.
  2. Is there a reason why there is only one USA male athlete?
  3. To me working out isn’t about skiing, it is for injury prevention and staying balanced in a sport that is asymmetrical. I agree technique over strength is paramount.
  4. I echo what Brett says. However you need to add one of the big 3 or undecided. That would help a new manufacturer figure out if there is a gap they can fill.
  5. An FYI. Donations on charge.org do not go to the petition writer. They support change.org.
  6. That broadcast was next level. The two presenters were top notch and you could tell they had experience broadcasting multiple different sports and leveraged that experience. Well done.
  7. I think perfect pass original tag line was ‘cheaper than a divorce’
  8. Mass has free access also. Works great. No base station for me.
  9. Mantle was a scratch golfer from both sides also. With and without high balls.
  10. It might not be applicable his trip. But Tape your hands starting with the first set. It will ruin ski school if you pop a blister/callous if you are skiing more than one day.
  11. @lpskier - Yes all great skiers. I was trying to point out there was no "overall" competition during hot summer nights. They focused on the individual events.
  12. @DangerBoy @RAWSki The comparison to snow skiing is not fair. At each event there is no overall winner. I believe the World Cup champion is the skier with the most points totaled for all events. You earn points by your finish in each event. To me overall skiing is more like the decathlon. If we all agree that the hey day of skiing was hot summer nights most/all of those stars were specialists.
  13. Any one comment on how the release works now that it looks like it is all Carbitex in the back? Long time Vapor Boot user and interested to try this one out also.
  14. It will save some course maintenance also, from less experienced drivers taking our boat guides. Still won’t help with the walleys on our public lake.
  15. @BraceMaker The idea of seeding, is the better you perform the better your advantage. True in all sports where they do seeding. Snow Skiing, Tennis, Golf, Baseball, Football etc etc. It is about the event, the WR is secondary.
  16. Start with twin lakes ski club in Monroe NY
  17. The after 2014 Prostar’s has an open bow standard and is not optional. The bow cover is optional but most boats have it, the middle seat is standard also but also folds down to access the bow. Rear seats are optional, with most slalom tugs the backs seats are removed and never seen again.
  18. For the newer boats the Mastercraft owners group recommended STAR BRITE EZ Store EZ Start Gas Storage. It has worked for me the last 3 years or at least it seemed to. It is both a fuel stabilizer and fogging agent in one step.
  19. Not a Nautique guy. I skied the 2020 ski nautique this weekend and was pleasantly surprised by the wake it put out.from 22-35@34. Convinced me more than ever, that it is highly dependent on many factors and that they are very inconsistent. There are good ones and bad ones, This one was a keeper.
  20. @jcamp Won the NESS H2H in the dark at Pangaea.
  21. I am with @PatM here, the wind is not the issue - It is what it does to the water that makes a difference. I am too fragile to take a fall where I am not expecting it. I am too fragile to take a fall where I am expecting it, but that is a different story.
  22. Can I assume they release the old way or in the reflex style way? Disclaimer: I just started on the Carbitex boot and liked it soooo much, I bought a backup to have for when this one ages out.
  23. I think the best we can hope for is the TWBC keeps getting better and they continue to broadcast these events. I think an improvement and something that would keep the "down" time to a minimum is "get to know you" segments with the skiers. Call it long form interviews about their daily life. For example Regina balancing skiing and owning a business. Vennesa and Whitney about being a parent and how it affects training. Brooke about going to school and its advantages and disadvantages when competing in pro events, etc. In individual sports the audience wants to get to know the participants. It could be a 45 second intro prior to the first pass, and then another 30 second inbetween. Sprinkle in technique thoughts or favorite places to ski. Talk about their coaching or training routines. People root for people they find compelling. At a minimum the athletes should be getting the announcers written material to use so we can get to know them better.
  24. Right hip -LFF, chiro seems to help. Need to go more
