The primary reason I go with a .94 handle is because I using the Radar vice gloves.....need a smaller diam handle with these gloves. IMO

.94 dia radius handle, clincher or Radar vice gloves (dowl and strap to transfer load to wrist) and #1 thing to do ...... Use a flex bar every day to strengthen muscles around elbow and forearm. Google flex bar, order the black one if you can find it. I've battled elbow issues for last few years and this has finally cured my issues.

Does anyone know if Perfect Pass is still making and selling their hand timer attachment? Using a course with no mags so we want to use a hand timer. If someone has one they want to sell, please call me at four two five-four seven one-two one three two. Thanks

Spent all of 2011 with terrible golfers elbow (inside elbow at joint). Tried many remedies but combination of "band-it" brace (google it) and daily use of the "flex bar" (google it ) cured me. Several skiers on BOS recommend flex bar and my PT also recommended. Order the black bar as it is the stiffest they make. Use it every day...especially before you ski and you'll get over it eventually. BTW, flex bar works for golfers or tennis elbow.

Inverted tach on 01 Malibu response corrected all my SG problems.

I had 2 pair of masterline prolocks and like the fit of glove w/o dowel. Ordered a new pair of prolocks in August and the strap was over one inch longer than previous two pairs. Couldn't use them without dowl. Called Masterline and they said most liked longer strap. I sold them to a friend and ordered Radar Vice which I now think is a much betted glove.

I've been dealing with patellor tendinitis all season. Going to PT and just started taking prescription anti inflammatory today. I use a patellor band and a neo brace to keep knee stable while skiing. Mine is in right knee -back leg. PT has me working on imbalance in strength in legs. Also ice knee two to three times /day.

Just switched from ML Prolocks to Radar Vice. Much better product imho. We will see how long they last.

PurdueSkier I run superfeet inside my Strada (inside boot and not under boot like others do) and water drains out just fine. My boots are the 1st year edition (I think about 4 years ago) and I just had to replace my front liner due to a tear in the lycra where my heal slides in ($70). The new liners that they are shipping in the 2012 boots are very comfortable and better (IMHO) then the earlier version. I think I'll order a replacement for my rear foot liner.

texas6, I was having similar problems with SG on my 01 Malibu Response; SG wouldn't settle down before gates so it would run a hot first segment and then a slow 2nd segment. I switch to inverted tach setting and it worked flawlessly last summer.

Update: emailed PP and they said $100 for new GPS puck. System is 14 months old and Garmin only runs a 12 month warranty on the puck. Decided to run the system another time before I ordered the puck. Skied last weekend and the system was working perfectly. I did disconnect and reconnect the GPS as GAJ004 suggested. All is good for now.

Krlee - it says "no GPS data" so it sounds like it's the puck. Did you get the replacement directly from Perfect Pass?

Skied on Saturday and the unit was picking up perfectly. Went out to ski on Sunday and no GPS signal. Checked all connections. Any advice? Thanks

Crescent Bar ski course update- via the Cline's Thank you all for your support and calls to the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife regarding the water ski course at Crescent Bar. We heard from Ted Clausing with the WDFW today. He was very professional and interested in working with us. He is meeting with some of the regulatory agencies tomorrow to discuss the course and its future. Ted was fairly confident the course would be returned to our possession and that a plan could be worked out between the water skiers and the WDFW. The issue at the heart of the matter is the “semi permanent” nature of the under-water structure. Additionally, the shallow water area where the course is located is actually part of the Colockum Wildlife Area, further complicating the usage goals of that part of the river. If you called Ted, you can expect a phone call back with in the next few days – Ted stated he was going to start returning calls starting Tuesday morning. Should you have a chance to speak with him, please be respectful and courteous. It made an extremely good impression with him that the phone calls he did receive were very positive and had a collaborative feel. It is important that we represent ourselves as responsible, family-oriented water sports enthusiasts who want to work with all the agencies involved to get the course up and running again while preserving the wildlife aspects of that portion of the river. While we wait to hear about Ted’s meeting with the other regulatory agencies involved in this issue, we are exploring the idea of creating a Crescent Bar Water Ski Club. As a club, we can present ourselves - and our passion for waterskiing - in an organized fashion. Ted showed some interest in this idea, as it would give the WDFW a single “organization” to interface with regarding water usage. Minimal dues could be collected on an annual basis to help offset any permits and course maintenance costs, for example. As a club, we could arrange community and environmental related events such as a 'beach clean-up' day - an idea that seemed to appeal to Ted. We will certainly keep you updated on how this plays out. We’ve started a database of those on this email distribution list. We’d be happy to add additional water skiers to the list – so please forward this email on and/or send us their contact information. We are hopeful that we can all be back on the Columbia River running full passes soon…

Hello fellow Washington skiers! We are contacting you in hopes of banding together to help save waterskiing on the Columbia River. As you may have heard, the ski course at Crescent Bar was removed (in its entirety) by the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife earlier this week. Just as a quick recap and history regarding this course, it was removed by the WDFW late last summer after prompting by Grant County PUD. Discussions with the WDFW led us to believe that, as a non-permanent structure, the course could be in the cove on the Kittitas County side of the river so long as it was being used and then removed when not being used. We are trying to contact officials at the Yakima Regional Office of the WDFW about getting the course back and to see what we can do to work together on this issue. That's where you come in. As in most cases - there is strength in numbers. If we all contact the WDFW, hopefully they will hear how popular this course has become over the 35+ years in as been in place. Below, we have provided the contact information for two key players - we encourage you to call and leave a message with your name, where you reside (we want to show that people from all across the state are skiing at Crescent Bar), and that you are interested in understanding why the course was removed and working with them to find a resolution to this issue. Please be respectful and professional. We really want to emphasis working WITH them rather than taking an antagonistic stance with them...and all the other agencies that are involved in this matter. I tried the slot fin on my Strada last summer. Didn't increase buoy count or make the ski feel better (as it did on my RS1 and HO Monza).Â

I skied the silver 2010 a number of times and when I went to buy one late last season the 2011 (red top) were coming out so I just paid little extra to get into the 2011 (so I wouldn't be tempted to buy a new ski in 2011). I can't tell the difference between 2011 and 2010, but I thought Eddie told me they slightly changed the flex for 2011 - I might be mistaken though.  Dusting off the Strada this week to ski with Joe K at Spring Mountain Ranch in AZ this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Sunny and 80 for 3 days is going to feel nice compared to the 40 and rain I've been enduring.Â

I'm in a 8-9 year old Adrenaline suit and think the price for the years of service can't be beat. Just had the seals replaced last year for the 2nd time (as I recall). Also a PNW skier and this suit get used almost every month except June, July, and August.

Anyone tried a Schnitz slot fin on the Strada yet? If so what did you think? I tried mine last weekend and skied as well as I did with the stock fin - maybe slightly better. It definetly changed the feel of the ski - seemed like edges changes were quicker, but ski felt slighty less stable; can probably tune that out. Ended up going back to stock fin for now.

I had my third day on the 2nd generation 67" Strada at Radar yesterday. I'm a 34 mph lefty and the ski is not coming around well on my weak side (2 & 4). Strong side turns are perfect. I skied a 1st generation Strada back in June and the weak side turns were incredible. As I recall, my settings are length 6.845 (tips), depth 2.505, dft 0.76, wing 9 degree.  RS1 boots mounted neutral (middle hole). One of the guys I was skiing with suggested I start by moving my bindings one forward. Do others agree or would you adjust fin first? If fin, what are your suggestions? Thanks for your advice
