I do not have issues signing in to the forum. MacBook Pro, OS10.6.8 Snow Leopard with Safari, Chrome and Firefox browsers. Same for my iMac with OS10.4.11 Tiger with Safari and Firefox browsers.

I attended the Broho event today and was impressed with the site, organization and the skiing. I've not met most of the posters on this site, so it was great to at least see a few of you ski. I ran into Chris Parrish in the parking lot later in the day. Did he ski?

I ski all year around on Lake Sammamish here in the Seattle area. We pretty much "own" the lake during the winter.

I ski on Sammamish year around. During the past two weeks there has been a major flying fly infestation on the lake. The larvae are in the water and the flies are hatching now. My boat literally had a monolayer of the pests covering the exterior and interior when I stopped. When I tried to brush them off or stepped, sat and walked on them, they squished and stained everything brown. I've had to thoroughly clean the upholstery and the carpet each time out this month. Oh, and did I mention inhaling them and trying to clear them from my eyes while skiing? Several lake-front homeowners told me that this phenomenon lasts about 3-4 weeks.
