  1. Hi guys Can someone please explain exactly what the deal is with the Strada boots and the release system?
  2. Thanks Scott..another question..  Do they have removable inners? and are they designed to release on a bad fall? i have heard about it but have had no real clarification.
  3. Hi guys..  I have just ordered the new strada boots, however since i live in South Africa and there is a pretty small skiing community here(compared to U.S) i don't know much about them. I have read up about them but i'd like to hear what you guys think? I am currently on HO Animals, but they are cramping after my second pass, i am looking for the highest performance binder that is still comfortable and allows me to do my 8 pass set. Do you think the Strada's are the right choice?
  4. Thanks guys... So you saying I should be more patient in the turn and wait for the handle to come to me? I've been struggling to think of what I've been doing wrong but this makes sense.. Thanks guys :)
  5. Hi guys... I'm having a problem on my offside, I'm working on opening up on my offside but as soon as I open up I break at the waste, so if I don't open up I get no width, and if I do open up I break and the waste and fall, I need help, please!!!
  6. Hey guys. I've recently just really really been struggling to just get going during this pre season..Im trying to make leaps in my technique since it does need work, yet even when im foucsing on one thing i can't seem to be skiing well...but when im just skiing and not really thinking about anything, literally just skiing...things work, but thats not helping me in the long run to make any improvements, unfortunately with the season coming up fast and furious..i have no clue what to do! Work on new things and throw the beggining of the season away? or Just ski and possibly get some decent scores?    >>>> are these my only two options or is there a way out of this predicament? please i really need help on this one!!
  7. as your second training partner...i rate you should go faster bro..im no expert trickers, but maybe if you go faster you'll get more air on your flips and you wont be forced to land like you normally do, take it up to 30..and then for toe's you can obviously go back down. :) check you soon mate :) we probably the only south africans here...:)
  8. But what if im concentrating on counter rotating my hips and not my shoulders? then my head might not follow my shoulders? yes? no? jaryd
  9. Thanks mates :) will try all these.. I think looking at the next set of boat bouys would be strange, not a bad strange just a different strange...but ill give it a shot, im hoping once i get this nailed i'll be into the shorter lines like 35 and 38 Hope your operation goes well Marco, just recently ripped the muscle off my bone on my arm..Been back on the water for a month now..:)
  10. Hey guys. I've recently been trying to perfect the theory of counter rotating with my hips..now its working and i can feel the improvements but im still being told to keep my head straight and look down the course. So i try this and all that happens is that i ski straight past the bouy...If i wanna start skiing the super short lines im pretty sure im going to have to do this..But i cant seem to get it right! Do you guys have ay advice?
