  1. Jody_Seal Could you comment on any difference in the Slalom Wake with the 502 compared to the smaller engines? What engine is your favorite wake wise in the older 196?
  2. BL_SKIER Where is the boat located at ?? Could you post some pictures ??
  3. A Friend of mine was asking the other day if there were any homes for sale at Ski Texas. He is a bachelor and does not need a really large one.
  4. Used them a lot back in the eighties....But for many years now PERFORMANCE is the best there is !!!
  5. Ran into Bill in the security line at the Orlando Airport about a month ago. We were headed for St. Kitts and he was headed for the MC Factory to put the deal together. Glad to see it worked out for him. Should be a Great Partnership for both.
  6. @bananaron Have always been curious how the Gekko compared in tracking and wake size for slalom against the CP or the Big 3. When I skied behind a CP it had better wakes than my 200, however, it was rather stiff to drive and not quite as reactionary or nimble as the 200.
  7. @lpskier ... Do you still have a Slalom Course on your Lake ??? Last time I was on Conway, years ago, there was a course on the main lake by 2 islands, and one on the southern lake. Some people inquiring about our house for sale have asked this question.
  8. After numerous requests I just posted a web link to interior photos on SIA. After viewing the interior photos, there is a box that says exterior. Click on it and there are more exterior pictures including the 50 Solar Panels, custom built into the roof. Here is the Link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1kZoDyZXrGZtSnBXK8Sh12zRHSMAFgTvv?usp=sharing
  9. @MitchellM ... It's amazing what only $50 grand can get you these days !!! LOL
  10. The Lake is named Mary Jess...Sits between Lake Jessimine to the West and the Conway chain to the East. Goggle makes the Lake look small between these two large Lakes, but it's plenty large, 55 acres, with a Ed Roberts certified Slalom Course, in your front yard. The best part is no one hardly ever uses the Lake. And yes, the other SN is blue. The area is known as Edgewood and is in Orange County, so you don't have City Tax and Rules. Plus there is no HOA Dues. Just a Lake Association that costs $217 a year. We have been rated as the best water quality in Orlando. The reason being we are a sand bottom, 35' deep, so we are part of the aquifer. The Slalom Course sits at 14' on the East 55's and 27' at the West 55's...Our Lake feeds Lake Jessimine, which feeds Lake Conway. No other Lakes feed into ours. We are also on a dead end street that is very quiet and no traffic.
  11. In case anyone is interested, we just listed our Lake House in Orlando for sale on Ski-it-Again. Only 10 -15 minutes from LaPoint's, Rini's, Downtown, the Airport, and Performance Ski and Surf. Perfect surveyed Slalom Course by Ed Roberts, right off your dock, with Goode Buoys !!! https://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?endless=summer&topic=Search&category=Real_Estate&postid=62547
  12. What the hell happened ?? Just saw him last summer and seemed healthy as could be. Really great Guy that will be missed for sure.
  13. Just look at His Family tree of GREAT skiers !!!! It's in his DNA !!! Proud of him to carry on the Family Name...Great Job !!!
  14. My C-75 came with as S Wing. Found that it seemed to provide extra drag. Tried several different size wings, including a Ventral. Ended up with a small flat wing using 5 to 7 degrees depending on water temp.
  15. A few weeks ago I had several discussions with Chad concerning this. He was hoping, that my Wife, who works for Tiger King/Net Flicks, could find someone to publicly represent the Facts pertaining to his side of the story. He shared these facts with me and I am in total agreement with what @Bruce_Butterfield stated, who hit the nail on the head, and I could not have said it better. Many of these facts were never allowed to come out in court. This has been a Hatchet Job from the very beginning. As @Horton said, he was thrown under the bus. I would add the bus was then allowed to back over him !!! Articles, like the one above, are typical of misrepresentation. Especially in the "WOKE" environment that pushes Negatively against Law Enforcement. Does anyone remember the lie "Hands Up - Don't Shoot." Proven to be totally false, but promoted by Hate Groups and the News Media to start a whole movement. I stand with Chad on this one and only wish I could have done more to help him with his case. I can only hope that somehow the WHOLE TRUTH is allowed to come out under an appeal with a different prosecutor and judge. I TRULY wish his whole family the best in getting through this.
  16. I have had one on my last 4 skis and LOVE it !!! PS: They were all new skis.
  17. Taught me the one handed gate in Hawaii in 91. Skied with him and his Dad who was a really great Guy...So sorry to hear about this. I have faith he will still be back coaching in the future. Hoping for a fast recovery !!!
  18. To be honest, when the C-75 came out, I was leery to buy a 65"ski at 6'4" @ 220. It was @Hortons review that caused me to pull the plug and order one.
  19. It's not only great to buy gear there but fun to hang out and talk skiing. You never know who you might run into there. Plus Mike's broad knowledge of all things skiing is unparalleled and he is a super nice person just like his Dad !!!
  20. Have a chance to pick up 2 properties in Weirsdale Fla that I would be renovating over the next year. Read here somewhere about skiing on Lake Weir with a Slalom Course. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  21. Sure didn't effect Nate much, running three 41's and trying 43 !!! PS: Thanks for the "Great Video" coverage of the whole event..Definitely made my weekend !!!
  22. @swbca ... If you go to nautique.com, click on Ski Nautique, then click on Performance, and scroll down to Micro Tuners, there is a complete explanation. @DW...Excited to hear that..Let us know the results of your progress. What worked and what didn't. Thanks
  23. @DW...Well if you know of "someone" who has added a diffuser plate could you have them share the results of their endeavor. Inquiring minds want to know !!!
  24. Interesting that the New Ski Nautique not only has the Hydrogate but the Diffuser Teeth that come down for different line lengths. Surprised no one has added a fix plate with the diffuser teeth they can adjust for depth with screw slots to find the optimum position.
  25. @Horton ...Looks much faster cross course than the 75 !!!
