  1. Yeah its only when its on the ski so i figure its the vibrations but ill try reformatting the card. Thanks
  2. Its a sandisk 16 gb class 10
  3. Does anyone else have trouble filming with the camera on the ski. Mine seems to mess up and stop recording nearly every time
  4. Looks like the ski will actualy skied on is not the same one he's holding on the podium?
  5. Word is they are releasing a version with a softer flex next year
  6. Its weird at first but you should be back on track within about 10 sets. I found it really hard even to get the ski on edge at first but it feels completely natural after a few sets. I was on double animals and had them both straight forward. As for waiting till next season it might not be a bad idea depending on how much you ski. If you start at the beginning of the season you can mess around while the waters cold and your getting your body back on form
  7. Right I don't get this ski. I haven't been on the water for 2 weeks and the last time I was all over the place. Today I went out and just said to myself relax and think of nothing but getting stacked. I nailed 28 off for the 1st time like it was the easiest thing in the world and then ran it again even easier. It makes no sense! I would say by just thinking about getting well stacked, I was really fast and wide and the the turns just swept through super smooth. I even felt wide at 32 off but kept getting too much slack and not making it to the 2 ball
  8. Why doesn't someone bother to change the website then?!!!
  9. The test centre in France is a couple of hours drive for me. Do I really want to drive up there and risk blowing a months salery.......? You look really really smooth on that ski!
  10. Tried the rtype today with just the normal non-moulding inner and loved it. By the 5th pass i ran the best 22off ive ran so far on the A2
  11. How? People at my lake think I'm nuts for doing 4 sets 6-8 passes in a day!
  12. That's because there is no right answer. Everyone skis differently and everyone has different shaped feet. There are lots of different boots and none of them are perfect, especially if your sharing a set up with someone. Before I read this thread, if you want to stay rtp, I would have said look at the reflex system cos your more sure that both feet come out. With 1 foot in you risk to twist your ankle which is what happen to me and it was 6 months till full recovery. I moved to double animals which ive been on for 2 years and they are great for skiing but I have never released and I've tweaked my ankle a couple of times as its much more suceptible after the 1st accident so I'm now looking at the reflex rstyle system. If you want to go double boot most people seem to love the stradas and say that release is good as long as you don't tighten the top strap too much but it's expensive. Changing to double boot is very strange at first and your always going to paying more as you need 2 boots. There is no perfect option, there is alway a risk!
  13. Im confused reading this thread. I thought the whole point of the reflex system is it's safer than rubber boots?
  14. Image i stole from another forum of r style with bungee /vanilla2/uploads/FileUpload/5/925.jpg
  15. Yeah maybe ill try the r style. Can you post a picture of the bungee
  16. I keep going back and forth cos i dont know if i should wait and see what HO are up to. If they get the exo system up to scratch i would love that cos coming from alpine skiing, i like the idea of full release but there are just too many stories of failures. Nearly everyone seems to love the rs1/stradas and release is supposed to be pretty good. I tried the reflex front with rear animal but didnt like it. I think the reflex is probably great for rtp skiers but for double booters im not sure
  17. So i'm thinking of changing from animal double boot to the strada but I don't really get what i need to order. The online shop says boot with front plate or boot with rear plate? I'm guessing I should be ordering one front, one rear and a sequence plate? Its for an A2
  18. @jdarwin have you got any more info on the arm-guard system Masterline are developing? I also tried to contact them but website doesnt work!
  19. Just had a look at fin slot on a bunch of different skis and the A2's just looks badly machined. The S1 and A1 slots are much cleaner and almost no gap. In fact my A2 is the only ski on the dock with an off looking slot. Having said that I'm skiing well on it today.
  20. Try horton's numbers!! I'm on the 66 and the ski holds an edge better and turns like a rocket but stable. Came out of the turn on the back foot a couple of times and the ski just kept going!
  21. I cant believe anybody can think about anything other than skiing in the middle of turn at 38off
  22. Yeah it's my offside that I'm struggling with. Watching videos of me I'm breaking at the waist coming out of the turn. Gonna try horton's numbers Saturday. I've got animals so binding adjustments are more limited. I would love the exo's but I've seen too much bad press. I'm thinking about stradas but i live in France and it's impossible to try things out. Even finding a dealer that sells stradas is very tough here.
