  2. now we know how it gets a 95 every time. it just counts up and then beeps
  3. @horton - if you upload a series of shots like that to a Google plus album, it turns them into an animated gif sequence for you. discovered that by accident the other day. doesn't always work out great. but kinda neat.
  4. @mattp we got the tour yesterday and had a few sets with @webbdawg99. prolly too much house for just me and the Mrs. still looking at options out there. love the site and the crew at Whitestone!!
  5. @horton SplashEye will soon be able to send you the picture (graph of boat path) of the last pass you drove right to your phone
  6. I've always considered my money pass to be the one right before my most difficult pass. I can run it consistently when the conditions are right, and it's the one I need to get a shot at my hardest pass in the tournament. Do others look at it this way, or are most people thinking it is your hardest pass?
  7. Step one in new Centurion water readiness prep... remove "gun sight"
  8. @gsm_peter - here you go http://www.usawaterski.com/pages/divisions/3event/TrickDescriptionandPointValues.pdf
  9. @kfennell - WOW. Thanks for sharing. We are pretty similar. Except i just moved down to 34MPH :). at around 6:50 your gate shot is noticeably better. you can really see the body alignment and the ski swing through. that's what i need right there.
  10. @OTF i know those guys ;) Main channel got pretty solid in January and February most years. We had to go up to Red Wing and ski where they dump the cooling water into the river from the nuclear plant. That was almost toasty.
  11. here is the video from that set http://youtu.be/p534gp7zxTw
  12. hey everybody. please take a look at the pic below and provide some comments and advice. the pic on the left is me pulling out to drop at the end of the lake. this seems like the form i want. the frame on the right is me pulling to 5 ball and seems like what i don't want at all. what do you think?
  13. @giddyup i'm using a 3" dia. PVC. The pylon on our 196 is 2.5" so I wanted it to be able to rotate easily. The key is definitely the width of the slot as @davemac mentioned. Mine is just wide enough so that it gently squeezes the loop over the pylon.
  14. I thought this was going to be about a new product from Dyson
  15. Top 3 at State will send you to Regionals. Top 5 at Regionals will send you to Nats.
  16. @SkiJay‌, thanks for the tip. I will try that.
  17. Hey all. Here is a quick video showing the device and describing its construction. http://youtu.be/9EWVzs7nUCE
  18. i'll post some pics later today of the mount itself. left it in the boat.
  19. Here are some videos of @MS and myself testing the GoPro pylon camera mount that I made out of 3" PVC for a total of $14 (with tax). Not sure how this compares with the $250 Wakeye. But, for the money, it seems to have turned out pretty good. http://youtu.be/kr2vXenRo-M and http://youtu.be/Gfwp6xMYeNE
  20. I think there is an up arrow on the Zero Off display. make sure 34.2 is highlighted. then press that button once :)
  21. If there is snow on the dock, @otf is up first
  22. .5 @ 35 (34mph) for me this year so far. just went from M2 to M3. previous practice PB was 1 @ 32 (36mph) seems about comparable with the speed change. really starting to feel a change in the dynamics with the shorter line now. very interesting experience for a hack skier like myself
  23. @thager i put a portable course on lake at our cabin once. DNR came by and told me it had to go because i was "privatizing" the lake. i don't think it helped my case when i told him he was wrong and that this was an 1100 acre lake
