    I was not trying to bring politics into this. It was just a blatant recent example of how easy it is to get a federal indictment 3 years after an event. If anyone needed to be indicted for a crime why on earth would it take 3 years? I am not a fan of either candidate. The point is some people were jealous of Chad and went after him. JMO

    I knew Chad for years and worked the same profession as him. I respected him and always thought they went after him. The Feds can put a case on anyone if they want to. Look what they are doing to a very famous person who is running for President so he won’t beat the incumbent. A grand jury indictment is a joke. A bunch of old people almost always indict.

    I agree with many of the other posters. I always want to see him compete however bad behavior should have a consequence. I have not seen or heard what exactly went down so I cannot say whether I agree with it.

    I try to get within a few thousandths of each setting except when I moved Hortons fin at Cottonwood several years ago. I tried to move it full aft dft.

    I agree 100% that lean and balanced with an understanding of what’s required to run short rope is essential. I know how to do it but I am fat and weak with not much practice and I struggle. Repetition of as perfect a pass you can run at the shortest rope length you can do it correctly is very important. Don’t run sh**ty sloppy passes then shorten until you miss and repeat the misses. I see people go out and run one or two passes and then practice missing their hard pass 4-5 times. You must learn how to move the ski outbound after the second wake.

    @mcskier41 yes. Exactly. Everyone gets a medal. I think wish said he might ski because he could get a medal because there was less competition. This is exactly the opposite of when Australian swimmer refused to compete unless Duke Kahanamoku was able to compete in the olympics because he was the best. The Australian did not want a metal unless it was legitimate and competing against the best in the world

    I agree with Shelby. It is important to voice disagreement. If you don’t, the stupidity will take over. It’s only two hours of your life wasted, right? The point is you get to choose what you “waste” time doing. Most of my rides lately are a waste of boat gas and two hours of my life but that’s my choice. Not some nonsense rammed down my throat by do-gooders.

    @scoke for bruce to get that mad I am guessing he’s on a Denali or used to officiate at one or more of the sights you disallowed. I would probably take the bet if I knew Caldwell was skiing a bunch of RC rounds. He is a beast.

    I don’t think it’s crazy to disallow sights that you believe have a questionable reputation even if it’s from the past. It’s Scokes bet, he can make it whatever he wants. For the record, I have a great deal of respect for Caldwell, Denali, Cord, Butterfield and Scoke. I think Cord can run 41@36 if he would ski somewhere warm and ride the same ski with the same setup more than two sets.
