  1. Bought the trailer off SIA. Thanks @dbutcher. OF
  2. I have a 2015 Centurion Carbon Pro and need a trailer. Before I have one built, just seeing if anyone has one they want to sell of know of one that is for sale. Thanks, OF
  3. I have a 2014 CP w/5.7 and a 2015 CP w/6.0 One has 300 hours and the other 600 hours. I use Royal Purple Dex3 rated synthetic trans fluid and have never had and issue and my transmissions are quieter and work great. OF
  4. Why does Illmore spec Pennzoil? Hmmm...Penske owns a stake of MC as well as owning Illmore Marine and guess who is a huge sponsored of Penske in the NASCAR world.....?Pennzoil (Joey Lagano #22) So knowing the very successful businessman Rodger Penske is, of course you would spec Pennzoil in all your engines your company has a stake in. (I have nothing agains Pennzoil, I just don't buy into you HAVE to use their oil or else.) I run RP in the BroHo boats and never had an oil related issue. As far as break-in, I have watched many a promo boat come to the lake with little or no hours on it. They get broken in skiing and never seen an issue. The only one I have heard of is taking a brand new engine and then just running at a steady high rpm for extended time. Tournament style skiing you never go more than 20 seconds or so, so no issue. OF
  5. The BroHo lake club boat is a 2015 CP with a PCM 6.0 which has run flawlessly for 500 hours. I started having the check engine light come on randomly, but most of the time half way through the course and then goes off at idle. Sometimes it comes on at idle too. All temps and pressures are correct and boat runs fine. I changed all filters, plugs and checked and re-sealed all connectors, but light continues to randomly come on. I talked to the PCM dealer and he said unless it stays on permanently, he cannot determine the cause. Any thoughts on this? OF
  6. +1 for In-Tow. I have used Brenda's rope and handles for over 10 years. IMO her stuff is second to none....OF
  7. Hilltop....where the BOS cash prize tournament Seattle will be held. Great skiing lake.....OF
  8. @gree0402 Go to a CP you won't be disappointed. We went from a 2012 Txi to 14 CP 5.7 and also got a 15 CP 6.0. For pure slalom skiing you cannot beat the CP for affordable form and function. OF
  9. Use it all the time. It is sealed so no mosture gets under bow. I just fill till it runs out and call it good. Does not seem to matter who is driving. Was one of the huge bonuses to getting a CP. (I have two, one 6.0 and a 5.7) USE THE BALLAST....OF
  10. @oldmanskier @Horton I would agree with Horton about the difference between the 5.7 and 6.0 on the CP is neglegable, but there is a difference especiall for the bigger skiers. I am 165lbs and can ski my average behind either CP. Behind the 6.0 is easier though. If you get either CP you won't regret it. Best bang for $. OF
  11. You can order right from VP. I have 6 of them, love them. OF
  12. And people wonder why people don't want to be police officers. Anti police even on a waterski forum....OF
  13. I have both 5.7 and 6.0 Carbon Pro. Both are great but 6.0 is best. The 6.0 is smoother in its power delivery and when skiing maintains boat speed better. Pull is more consistant as boat does not have to surge or react to skiiers pull. In my opinion and those who ski behind the 6.0 have said the same thing. Almost like PP of old. This is also my experience with skiing behind 6.0 200. You would think the 6.0 would be brutal on the skiier, but not the case. It is the better option if you want to pay. Added bonus is better fuel economy and lighter weight. OF
  14. The boats on our lifts at the BroHo are a 2014 5.7 and 2015 6.0. Pound for pound, dollar for dollar the best bang for your buck if you are looking for solid slalom tug. I make this comment as a Regular rated driver who has driven as well as skied behind a 2015 CC open/closed bow, 2014 MC and 2015 Malibu in numerous tournaments. As you can see I base this on driving and skiing behind all the boats. I am not saying CP is any better than any of the other boats, just for that for your money, IMO you cannot do better. OF
  15. Radar is beautiful, but neglect of edges make for not the greatest conditions. We hope either Hilltop or we at BroHo will do it. OF
  16. At the BroHo we are at the end of the 2nd year of our CP. Been great boat and no issues. We also have members with Malibu, SN and MC so I have a good bench mark. Our CP is a great work horse boat that just flat gets the job done. I have been so impressed I am in the process in buying another one for the club. OF
  17. Get ZO.....! You will not regret it. OF
  18. Demo a Flex Tail @ the BroHo (Stop #4 of Big Dawg) July 16th and 17th. Greg Badal will be at the lake with several different lengths of Flex Tail skis. Thursday is an unofficial Big Dawg practice day and Friday is an official practice day with registered Big Dawg skiers having priority. There should still be plenty of time should you want to demo a ski, especially on Thursday. Also coaching is available from Greg for $50 a set. A non-coached set is $25, but I am sure if you would buy a Flex-Tail we could probably waive that......................OF If you need any more information, feel free to text me at Two Five Three - Six Zero Six - Seven Seven One Eight.
