  1. Thinking about it, you only need a second widerstarter ski for a few feet if you're still athletic enough to slalom on one. Dreaming of an anchored \ bungee tied\bouy tied short fat ski with easy in and out binding... Get up on two for quick planning within 10-15 feet then drop.Ski is always in the same spot just drop beside it,put in back on and repeat each end. Easier on private site. Ok, i'll shut up now...
  2. To help others help you,you way want to post year of the engine and a pix of the ECM serial and model numbers. Good luck! Have you tried with @Jody_Seal and Indboard sulutions (not sure of the name ) ?
  3. @dchristman We call them '' the ankles breakers'' in our skiers group... :|
  4. @Bill22 Love the gloves, hate the velcros. Don't know if there was a bad batch or what but bought 6 pairs last year for 4 different skiers and they all have problems staying put.
  5. You bet i do !!! Right there, live pic as they are resting from this morning sets the blue and white O Neill! Those are the magic shorts. They never fail me...(almost). That's how the deck ramp looks like here all season long...
  6. Looks like a good ski... Why am i having problems believing that all 3 ran 41 at first try at legit speed ?
  7. @Wish Wish (Not intended) i could also give you a ''Like'' and an ''Insightful '' too... @Razorskier1 I'm coming back from a ruptured Achilles (nothing compare to your '' constraints'' ) . Slalom skiing is a VERY demanding sport (like you wouldn't know already...) You're an athlete, you'll be back better next year! Better. I' ve accepted already that no PB will be set this year and already working on my 2018 season Please, don't be too hard on yourself and good luck!
  8. That's definition of heavy duty right there! I don't see a weak link or fuse to release the bouy if a prop would it them only SS cable. Is there one ?
  9. Reflex are not 100 % safe bindings. I m affraid that a one inch lift of the heel could lead to a nice "zipper" inthe back of your ankle in case of the perfect fall...
  10. THAT 'S exactly the kind of tournament that waterski need. I wish there was one like that happening near me... Congrats to the organizers, to you and your wife!!!
  11. @SM should be able to accomodate you for early morning sets on the river. I'm an 1 hour 45 from MTL and would be glad to offer you a set or 2 !
  12. Congrats on the weight loss! My guess: you ll gain a bouy for every 10 lbs you lost!
  13. @303Skier Because watching Seth's videos of coaching regulars Joes like me gave me the feeling that he understand and will give just the right advices to make you a better skier without getting things too complicated ... Try to watch the video where he coaches with an Ipad and you ll see what i mean. Edit:link to the video.
  14. IIRC Seth Stisher used to do video coaching too. For me,he s the one i would send money to to get my skiing analyze...
  15. How' bout the 5.3 at elevation and short set up ? Is it better then the 5.7 ? Enough or you need to upgrade to the 6.2 ?
  16. If he kicks with his right,to me,means he's more balance standing on his left. YMMV. Just great that he loves skiing!
  17. Jody I ll take them ! Shipping to Coble ski school like last time with the smart timers. Let me know how much for shipping! Thanks!
  18. Plus a cat in bonus... And a couples of K for acl repair...
  19. Wish you to get healthy and beat this thing! As others have said, love your attitude and your way of thinking! Good luck!
