  1. You removed the distributor but didn't replace the pick up coil ? :( Mine was intermittent too.I coulde ski a couples of sets then no start. I don't think it's the timing as it started good and ran good for a short while. Brand new coil is dirt cheap and you'll rule that one out for the rest of troobleshoothing if not the culprit...
  2. ''...give you some pulls behind a 2019 Nautique on a private lake...'' Jackpot!!! B)
  3. Anyone can compare the MSN to the Ski Päradise gloves and the Pro Gear (or Glove ?) ? Grip, materials and most importantly the velcros! Love how the MSN are thins and super grippy but the velcros are so bad it's not even funny...unless they improoved it in the last year.
  4. @jercrane College is overated anyway... ;) Enjoy your new boat! 5.3 l ?
  5. Well, seems both of you are not really far from me! I'm near Sherbrooke,Qc. I could see the boat by myself in 2,5 hrs according to Google...and i'm starting 6 weeks off work... B)
  6. @vtmecheng Probably an error.Quite easy on this site to click on those without noticing if you're surfing on a phone...Annoying.
  7. Great for you! We love new boats pics by the way!
  8. ///Note to self.Never buy @jercrane 's boat... J/K .Your boat is gonna be as good as,well...new!
  9. Send money now,get handle later...way later.
  10. Like Santa would say: ''HOHOHO''...
  11. If you end up getting the distributor out for visual of the pick up coil, change it for a new one. It's like,15$.
  12. Pffffffff! When Zero Off drift, i just buy a new boat...
  13. @oldjeep Dragging a leg got me an hernia.I did ski a lot of sets 2008-09-10 in a short northeast season and pretty sure that dragging a leg while getting up so many times was the cause of it (I'm bad and fall a lot! ). Believe it or not,i now found it much easier to get up both feet in with a nice pop-up from my driver! Always been a RTP guy.
  14. @2Valve Here's a VERY good guide to troobleshoothing a no spark/no start on a GM 350. I have use it on my 94 MC last year and this saturday on a 00 Response lx with same engine as you i beleive. Real easy to follow. It use another method for checking pick up coil then the Ohms on page 6. http://easyautodiagnostics.com/gm/4.3L-5.0L-5.7L/distributor-mounted-icm-tests-6 Here is what mine looked like last year...
  15. Ok, been back to factory settings for a month and really love the ski as all my previous D3s. It's still early in the season but would like to try something else. 6' 2'' ,192.5 (down 15 lbs from last year :) ) and would like the ski to get a bit more snap in the turns specially on my onside. Starting from factory settings, where do i want to go? Long and shallow or short and deep ? Signed:Not a usual fin tinkerer...
  16. LOL! You both get an ''awesome'' from me!
  17. Rope broke suddenly while pulling hard and sent me violently in the water. It was late september and decided to use an old rope to finish the season. Very next set, same thing happened...
  18. Shit! I was hoping they were going bankrupt so that we can go back to Perfect Pass and get good customer service...
  19. ...and to say that Perfect Pass 20 years later still has amazing customer service! Canadian eh!
  20. Pulling too long, late edge change, rushing the turn...That sequence lead to slack line.
  21. Isn't 650k dirt cheap for an already existing private ski lake ? (...and i'm poor!)
  22. As long as you're not using a spray leg sleeve too... ;)
