  1. Google Chris Parrish ? Ok.Don't worry too much about having a driver who coach at the same time. Most of the serious ski school in Orlando will be able to help you improve.
  2. At 30' deep, you can't put screw types anchors you will have to go with weights. Concrete looses about 35 % ( ? ) of the weight in water but...dirt cheap! If no current, dropping anchors through the ice could be done and easy to survey. You will have to reajust subs and bouys as the water fluctuates or have to add some systems if you want them to self adjust. More things to break and fix on a public lake, not a good thing, you want to ski more then repair. Good luck!
  3. IMO with a good 140 degrees mirror and if you're not skiing agressive 38 off and shorter (and even then...) a good coach/driver will easily spot your weaknesses with glimpse in the mirror at the right moments while keeping a good boatpath.
  4. Jody always have some good deals! Great buy @BlueSki !
  5. Jody ' s right. Ooops long link edited. Search amazon" marine water circulating pump" for small block chevy, 60$. Edit 2 :when i clicked on it, price went up to 85...???
  6. Disclaimer: I' m men5. I think 32 is too fast for men 8. 30 should be plenty fast. Falls are harder, more chance of injuries and it s more fun to shorten the line then to speed up. My 2 Canadian cents..
  7. Edit: Read the wrong year of boat, thought it was a 2017. I did replace my circulating pump with a marine one from NAPA. Was a perfect fit, came with both gaskets. At some point a 350 is a 350... You have open cooling or closed loop?
  8. Must have skid traces in his shorts... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NmhafFBfNP0
  9. Can't seem to find a Quickset ski video on Google. Anyone has one? Would like to see the boat path and famous whip...
  10. Some will say never look across the rope until behind the boat. Some look at the boat transom or pylon...Some look 15 feet in front of the next bouy...Some look for the next boat guides. For me, i spot the bouy after second wake, which may be too early...
  11. Simply put. If you're skiing 28-30 mph, 15 off on the latest top of the line ski outhere can it be bad for your skills or will it help any level skier already on a decent ski ? Example:If you're on a Pro built, will you get more bouys moving to a Senate?
  12. @Horton Not everyone knows everyone. Who's this gent?
  13. Same thing as you on all the numbers.Always been on 67 until last year where my skiing weight went up to 208 and needed a ski.Got myself a 68 Quest 45 but during winter i lost weight and i'm down to 190.68 feel great with easier deepwater start and less tiring to ski. I adjusted bindings and fin to make the ski feel a bit shorter and everything is fine on the 68 and i ski exactly the same scores (2-3 at 35 ) as on my 67 Radar. I never felt that the 68 was too big after losing weight.
  14. @swc5150 Wouldn't be scare on my 94,but no way in hell should you have to do that to a 2019 boat... Not sure of the % of owners that do it to their new MC.
  15. I know a way to get one but it will cost you about 100K !!!
  16. Is it just me or i would really hate having to take the grinder to my spanking new 85k boat...
