  1. 99 feet. (Gotta beat the others!) 17 years old trailer with about one mile on it...
  2. 23 is big for a slalom boat. The 205 is a prooven do-it-all machine.Get the MC.
  3. What @jhughes said.If you can afford one year more recent, that would be a better upgrade with the TXI.
  4. @andjules Everything is there...Pros start at 5:57
  5. That 41 was...violent to say the least.
  6. @ScotChipman1 Don't want to ski better... but Canadian Nationals are 230$ for one event. Don't want to get the handle taken away from me by the 6.2 boat because i don't know wich setting to use for my wally style! (Probably W+++...) :)
  7. If you ever wondered why folks with Perfect Pass classic don't show up at tournament...this thread is why.
  8. @jhughes and @UWSkier Me three ! For a week now and my 32's are getting better and easier on my body. Still can't do more then 2 @ 35 but there's hope that early in the season! Agree that having the shoulder as far away from the ski is solving a lot of other things and it's only one thing to think of.My pre-gates glides is also benefitting from it. I predict that soon,a lot of skiers will be thinking vertical separation! So much simpler! Oh,great skiing by the tower.Age and injuries have made his comeback difficult...
  9. If you turn the key to on and jump the starter ,will it start and run ?
  10. Trade for a kidney ? Beautiful boat! GLWS
  11. Congrats on the new boat! Cheapest new Prostar i've ever read about!!! How many hours?
  12. I remember that in those same years MC and Malibu were blowing J hoses but that was Indmar.Don't know if PCM were using the same J hose... Were your replacement J hoses date stamp ? Sidenote. It happened to my ski partner Malibu 07 V-Ride (also own a 196 for skiing).New to boating and thinking he was sinking with water on the floor ,he rushed to my other ski partner empty boatlift to save his boat. Forgot about his tower and the boatlift canopy...and wrecked the canopy frame!
  13. Zero Off simply don't give a fork about customer service. It's been like that since introduction.
  14. @Chef23 Jumpers or slalom? Nice weather here too! Perfect to start 6 weeks of vacation!
  15. Ditto on Bruce's article.Read it many times and if i remember right there's also a nice pix of Chet holding the handle after the second wake... Look at Chet and the guy in the next pix. That's where the difference is.
  16. @DaveD Totally agree about the gloves.Since i switched from Masterline Kevlar to MSN neon i got a lot less wear on the rubber...but still use 1.5 handles a season. Anyone ever tried to change the rubber themselves on a handle?
  17. Always wanted to try a US Gear but i don't get to meet a lot of skiers beside my regular partners who don't own one and what @scuppers posted and other stories kept me from ever ordering but it seems that more and more guys are ordering and getting their handles in a reasonable time. Question: How durable is the rubber on US Gear and can you replace rubber yourself or can it be send back to replace it ? I go through 1.5 Radar handles in a 5 months/140 sets season usually and 125$ US plus shipping to Canuckland gets pricey in CDN$ if the rubber don't last me at least a season... FWIW : I beleive we all go through some bad shit during our life and Randy was probably also at a certain point...Not fun for those who lost money but not the end of the world either.
  18. THAT is the difference between a Moomba and a MC or Nautique of the same era. Helped a first time dd owner this morning lauch his new to him Tigé 21 2000. He bought a ski boat after skiing my 94 MC and he liked the wake compared to his older sterndrive. He found the wake at 15 off 28 mph to be a wall on the Tigé. I did advice him to stay with either boat from the big 2 but he didn't listen...
  19. I would idle the boat and wiggle every wires and electrical connectors on the boat. Check for good male\female plugs connections...and at the battery of course. Good luck!
  20. 80k boats. Trying to save 20$ on an oil filter...priceless! J/K Ilmor oil filter price at the dealer is ridiculous!
