  1. @swbca You're taking your comeback very seriously. How long since you've been skiing your last tournament? When was the last time you ski recreationnaly?
  2. Got 2 of the 60$ kind 2 years ago.Very satisfied. You could consider them ''ski club '' quality. Unless you need the 39'off loop.
  3. Interrested to see if you'll be able to change 47 years of skiing that way...That's the hardest part IMO.
  4. Friendly reminder to raise your bunks to clear the tracking fins. Also watch out for water pick up or Perfect Pass paddlewheel if equipped with, depth finder if there is one.
  5. Incredible weather in eastern Canada for the last 3 days has melt the ice really fast .Last chunk of ice yesterday and today skied 2 sets in 59f water anf 76 air! Fastest iceout in 26 years on the lake! God,it's good to be alive again!!!
  6. Yep,make that inches-pounds,sorry for the typo...
  7. It has been discuss a few times on Team Talk "fuel pump 101 " thread. If i remember it was in inches/feet range. IMO, just use common sense when tightening . It's not an engine head either, just torque reasonnably tight and you shoulb be good.
  8. FWIW Friend got some from Amazon and are happy with it. All made in Asia anyway...
  9. @UWSkier I can see different thickness on another site. How thick is the one you chose? Looks great, good job! https://www.wakullamat.com/products?gclid=CjwKCAjwjbCDBhAwEiwAiudByxvoDcK9yO1afhkdmDqmVN9GoUYqLx9mppPe8Nah2iqRyqlc9sgjBBoCbeQQAvD_BwE
  10. LOL! Open the storage area in the back and remove flooring!
  11. @Drago No. Just a friendly reminder that shit happens. Better safe then sorry. No downside whatsoever to using a guard.
  12. Cool thread about waterskiing and friends! No World ranking BS. No Zero Off BS. No tournament fees BS. No Covid BS. Just plain fun, waterskiing, good food and friends!!!
  13. This gasket that goes under this pump module. Lots of fuel pump died in those years of MC and peoples replaced themselves often. This gasket could leak after.Happened to a guy with an 08 Prostar on my lake.Fuel smells were really bad. Good luck!
  14. Ditto on checking under the floor of back storage. Check carefully around the fuel outlet, there's a gasket.
  15. @MrJones @MichaelGoodman Are there pix of your lake on this site somewhere? Love looking at private waterski lakes porn...
  16. Congrats @Spencer_Shultz ! enjoy ...and take some pics! ;)
  17. @SlalomSteve Been moving the straps back one hole (that i had to drill) for 15 years. Way better and more solid connection to the ski then when the strap is on the front of foot like in pic.
  18. Dear @schnipdip Ever heard of Carbon Pro?
  19. Not a caption but...first time i see a Krishna skiing!
  20. @Horton Nope, still available. If that boat was near me and already in Canada,it would be mine.
  21. In fact,i'm in love with this 2015 MC Barney edition and this is IMO one of the 2 best deal right now on SIA. 590 hrs,BOTH ski racks, passenger side ballast, heated seats and heater, pull up cleats. No front or rear seatings (like i care). Nice trailer too. 42k,negotiable. Make it 40k. Best deal available right now. Way better deal then those 30k plus 08-09 196. Much more boat for your money...and it's purple! :) https://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?endless=summer&topic=Search&category=Boat_3Event&postid=57972
