  1. Always change the oil and filter when laying it up for storage.
  2. Cant afford a zeroff boat. Zbox in my future.
  3. I am going to stick with Ball 1 45, ball 3 25 and ball 4 to exit 31. I tried turning ball 3 down by 5 and it started surging again, but not as bad as before. I think I found the right settings. Time to add zbox.
  4. The three event has wakeboard mode. Trick mode is basically the same except when you press the arrow buttons the speed adjusts by a tenth of a mile per hour where wakeboard mode goes up or down by two or three tenths of a mile per hour.
  5. I won't need to do anything on the lighter settings. The problem only occurs when my boat is under load. I may have to adjust the X and 36 MPH settings. No problem pulling skiers smaller than my brother and I.
  6. @skiboyny I have not tried it yet.
  7. I ran a pass at 22off, 28off, and 32 off. I sent the numbers to perfect pass. I think this is as close as I can get it.
  8. These are numbers I tried this past weekend and I had the Kx set to ++
  9. @"Keith Menard" I think you have yours dialed in pretty good. It looks like it is in the quarter mile per hour tolerance..
  10. I have been running on the same settings for a while. I am not getting the + or _ .01 on each buoy ,but I am still within tolerance. I have been running it at kx +. I am getting full course times of 16.98-16.99 most of the time.
  11. @skiboyny I don't have zbox yet.. I want to get this working first.
  12. The lower powered boats need to be set to have more throttle response at the gate and ball one since that is the hardest pull from the skier. I was testing it one day and I could tell the boat was slowing down when the skier went from gate to ball one. I turned up the settings to stop it. It is less of an issue on higher powered since they have more torque to resist the pull of the skier.
  13. @Windsurfnut, it is a 1994 Ski Nautique with the 240HP 351Ford carbureted with the 1:1 tranny. I had to turn the ball 3 setting way down to stop the surge from 2-3 ball. The 2008 version of Perfect Pass Stargazer which used the paddle wheel and the magnets along with the GPS. I had perfect times almost every time unless it was adverse conditions, then one day the master module blew up after 9 seasons when a safety switch went out. I had to replace the master module. I turned the ball one setting up to level out the ball 2-3 times.
  14. Overall times are have been between 17.02-16.98.
  15. At the moment my settings for 34 normal are 45 25 and 31.
  16. I have the surge problem solved. I am still trying to tighten up the buoy times.
  17. Masterline.
  18. I always show up a half hour before the start time of the whole tournament. I get my gear laid out and ready to go(slalom and tricks where applicable). I like to watch the other divisions ski while waiting for my event. If I am in a rush I don't ski well at all.. Entry fees are not cheap. I am not throwing my money away..
  19. I would draw a template for each letter, and then if they all come off, get flat decals made
  20. @skiboyny You are right, I am guessing.. All of my buoy times were slower than +.02- +.07, although ball 1 was -.01. It was also coming up slow at the end of the course. The pull felt the most constant on the 15 20 15 settings. It makes sense to try 20 20 15. I have been running 28 off when running the tests. It does not surge at 22 off.
