The pan is 45deg/sec My calculations indicate it needs 60-67deg/sec pan. Specs also indicate a tracking distance of 2-30feet. Would need a 60foot tracking distance to film 15off. Specs are close though.
No binding is completely safe. I was on RS-1s then Stradas until I hit the 3 ball and severely strained my left/rear ankle. Always kept the laces snug but not tight. Front foot came out rear foot didn't. When the ski rolled it rolled it my ankle. I've been on Reflex front with r-style rear for two years and have had no foot/leg injuries but it could still happen.
@MISkier its 0.0625 thick, 1/16". The heading is right the tech specs are wrong. I'll try to remember to take some pictures today. I've made about 5 of them and given away material for another 4 or 5. I have yet to have a hole pull through.
Order a piece of this and make 8 of them for $5.26

Works great. Very strong
68' V-type. With my Reflex front boot I found that I could position it at 30 1/8 of 29 7/8. Back was way better. I'm not finished setting up my fin but currently 6.869, 2.490, 0.728
@gmut The easy answer is yes. I actually use an EZ fin tool and measure to the very back of the ski but I initially determine the difference between the two points. I found the difference on my V-Type to be 0.1 On the Vapor the difference is 0.080
