  1. The HO sizing chart doesn't break down the size for speed on Omega Max. I am an old guy now skiing at 32mph, 5'10, 170 lbs. The chart suggests I should be on a 66" for my weight. Wondering whether I should go with the 67" needing more support at slower speed. I am leaning towards the 67". Any input would be appreciated. Thamks
  2. I have a 2015 Malibu TXI with the 5.7. I recently took the boat to a private lake development and mapped the two courses. Without a skier the Zero Off revs every time i pass a guide buoy all the way thru the course. Is this normal? I get good times with or without a skier. At my home course I don't remember the rev when I initially mapped the course. I assumed the rev was always from the skier load. Any input would be appreciated. My concern is that the skier is getting the load rev increase plus some incidental rev increase.
  3. Thanks ski4xtc. Took the boat in and they didn't find any codes. They checked all the connections and nothing appeared to be out of sorts. Took the boat out today and during the 4th set while going to 5 ball at 28 off - oops it went to idle!! I have returned boat to dealer who is going to get Malibu and Indmar involved. Told them the boat is currently UNSAFE to operate while skiing in course. Anyone else out there who might have any suggestions it would be most appreciated
  4. I have a 2012 Malibu TXI and have experienced several throttle glitches. While cruising at 32-34 mph with Zero Off disengaged, the engine will suddenly reduce throttle to idle. I put the throttle into neutral and re- engage forward and everything seems ok. It has happened 3 times in the last two weeks and today it happened repeatedly while returning to harbor. It has never happened in the slalom course while Zero Off is engaged. Anyone else experienced this? I am wondering if it is a bad connection in the electronic throttle assembly. Taking it in this week to have it looked at.
  5. It has four rows of the clear 250
  6. Just picked up my new mid ride with powershells - just standing on the carpet I am able to pull up slightly with either foot and seperate the clear 250 interlock. I never had this problem with my 9700 and powershells with the black 250. Had that set up for 3 years and never had issues. Could there be a bad batch of interlock? I am going to take it back to Goode and tell them I refuse to ski on it. Any ideas other than going back to my stradas?
  7. Thanls skiep I will try them tomorrow
  8. Just tried out a 9900SL 65.75" 34 mph LFF. Found excellent onside turns but having some issues with the offside. Currently I have everything set to stock. Anyone have some fin numbers that work well. I tried moving the bindings forward an 1/8 with no improvement
  9. Anyone skiing a 66" Z7 have any fin setting opinions? I ski at 34 mph, LFF and 165 lbs. The ski is currently set up according to factory specs and seems to be working very well. Wondering whether anyone has tried other settings and found noticeable improvement.
  10. Any comments on the centering of front binding on Goode powershells - 34 mph, LFF. The shell has a molding line which appears to be in the center of the toes but using that line to center the boot on the ski makes the shell look likes it is off center favoring the little toe. Should the boot just be centered on the ski? Also any comments on fin settings for 2007 Nomad RC 66". Thanks
