After rupturing my achilles in a pair of HO Aproaches I went to Goode Power Shells and took the springs off the back boot so the back heel can come up as far as it wants. Takes alot of pressure off the back ankle and achilles while still keeping me connected with both feet in a fall. Has been working great for four years.

Im running a 143 and a 160, ordered from Skidim,, and yes I rerouted the heater and it did run hot all the time, worked great..

Ok,, so I changed out both thermostats and the impeller,,, skied last night for a couple of hours, boat ran awesome and the heater reroute as suggested in the post about the LT1 overheating problem worked great too. I also moved the head crossover tube to the front of the heads. The boat ran a constant 160. The only problem being that the red overheat light on the dash will not go out.. Is there a reset for this or could the sending unit be bad? Thanks

I have a 94 prostar 190 with the LT1,,, Im changing the thermostats and it has been a few days since I took it apart,, can anyone tell me which way the lower thermstat faces? Thank You Hayden

Rod, have you made these with mastercraft underneath before?

I just recently purchased a pair off RS1's and have skied on them twice. My question is.... is it normal for the liners to come out every time take off the ski? It would be nice if they stayed in the shell rather than having to crunch them back in every time?

I would very much be interested in a platform that wasnt teak,, I dont really care for the look and maintenance of wood on a all fiberglass boat, looks funny to me that this is the only thing wood on my boats,, the fiberglass ones are to heavy,, the carbon fiber ones to expensive. I would love to see an alternative,,. maybe something you could use the rubber pad on that they use on the fiberglass ones.. I have two 94 prostar 190's

Horton, I have been skiing on a 67 Senate C for about 6 months now and really liking it. I ski the course twice a week 22 28. Im 170 and 5'9" this new Strada 55 sure sounds very tempting and I'm thinking about getting one. My question is do you think at my weight and height that I could drop down a size? Thanks for any insite you might have.

A skwal is the main piece of equipment used for skwalling, a hybrid sport combining the carving of Skiing and riding feel of snowboarding. It is similar to a snowboard or monoski in that both feet are attached to the same board. On a skwal the feet are one in front of the other, in line with the direction the skwal is pointing in. This differs from snowboards (in which the feet are side-on to the direction of the board) and monoskis (in which the feet point in the direction of the board, but are side-by-side). The skwal was invented by two French ski-school instructors Patrick "Thias" Balmain and Manuel Jammes, with the first prototype appearing in 1992. They envisaged it as a way to offer different sensations to what skiing and snowboarding could offer, at a time when 'carving' skis were only just starting to take off. A French company called Lacroix took an interest, recruited Patrick Balmain, and started producing skwals. A few years later, Patrick left Lacroix and started his own skwal-making company. There are now several other makers of skwals, though the sport has never gained the widespread popularity its creators predicted - possibly due to the perceived difficulty of the sport. The sport is nonetheless gathering a few more adepts every year.

Yes, if you go to a site that sells the Skwal you will see that the bindings are placed one in front of the other in a straight line exactly like a water ski, the carving boards are basically a longer snow board with the bindings canted like a snow board just not as much as a short snowboard

Anyone in the know have an idea if the 2010 Senate inherited shaping from the Strada or is it still the RS-1 derivative that is was in 2009?ÂÂ
