  1. Thanks for the input. I have driven around the area with plat map in hand and used GIS. Lake Laura looks great if we can get on. There may be a development started on the north side. The Anderson Lake I found was west of Alex. Even with the high water a course may be a tight fit. Tough to leave my home site. Pickerel lake south of Ottertail City. Deep clean lake. No course permit though as OT county stopped granting them.
  2. Does Trophy Lake I have a membership program, or is it by invite only.
  3. Does trophy lakes have a membership system, or is it by invite only.
  4. Moving to Alexandria MN this fall. Looking for ski lake, club, or location to put portable course. Current ski partner lives by Garfield. Both of us have boats. Have one portable course. Looking for permanent course.
  5. I own a 1999 Infinity ZX-1. Love the boat, but did not know there we so few out there. I have been tempted to buy another one and keep it as a back up. You just cannot beat the interior room. 22 off is and issue, and my boat did not have the "wake defectors" installed. Any one have some for sale?
  6. That is a little earlier than I had seen. Remember the ad for Lapoint O'Brien skis which had the fog rising off the lake. The caption was something like wake up and smell the coffee.
  7. Does anyone have a photograph of the same point in the course as this from about 1988? I would bet that the form is the same. This is the definition of an iconic photo. The same one O'niel used on its wet suits.
  8. Yes, the details are as such. 1. Boat show only 2. You have 10 days from the purchace of your boat to register by website and fill out paper work which needed to be mailed in. 3. Three years from date of purchase you must hit the one week window to claim your rebate. Boat was purchased at the Detroit boat show.
  9. Bring back the MC Sport Star. The late 90s saw Midwest Master Craft selling lots of these boats. They were great basic ski boats with trailer for 20g. Their demise was that the ruined the used boat market. Who wanted to by a two year old boat when you could buy new, cheaper, with warranty. My brother just bought a X-14 MC which lists for 68g. He is part of the 25g "rebate". You don't get your money back for three years, and if you submit your request during a one week window three years from now no money. I hear a lawyer shuffling papers in his office.
  10. I would rather not say which major water sports mail order company I was dealing with. I love my O'brien skis. Back to a mid 80's competitor with the green bottom and silhouette spray top. It has demonstrator in factory paint next to the fin. Seven skis for myself later I am on an SS. My concern here is no one seems to have any in stock, and the new 09' web site does not show Edge bindings as an option. Anyone have one or any retailer have one in the back room? Can I get one direct from O'brien?
  11. I need help locating an O'Brien Edge rear size medium binding. I had ordered both front and back from a catalog company. The rear was backordered. I was informed that "the guys at O'Brien are terrible to work with and we won't be carrying their products anymore." A quick search has not turned up any. If anyone has a lead let me know.
