  1. Thanks Guys, I don’t have the technical savvy, patience or time to update the puck lol. I’m going to get the update and new puck coming today. As for a new boat, I get a lot of opportunities to ski behind all the new stuff. The fact is, I don’t ski any better or any worse behind either and I really like my old boat. I’m really excited after hearing such great reviews about this newer version. We have open water with buoy’s floating, now if only Montana’s weather will quit messing around maybe we can get some water time.
  2. Thanks guys for all of your great information and sorry for my slow response. HVAC in Montana is insane right now. i didn’t realize that the puck was an issue as well. Thank you for the insight! I’m really glad to hear that the new update is working so well for you guys. I’m hopeful that replacing the puck and software will do the trick! Thanks again! Steve
  3. Has anyone had the opportunity to try their new software update? I currently have rev. 8.7 I believe. I see that they now have rev. 9.0. I’m wondering if this new version has helped while using Z Box? I have a ‘95 Response with a 300 hp throttle body Mercruiser. For an older boat, mine is super solid and ski’s very well. Add Z Box into the mix and it’s freaking terrible!!! I run the tach inverted which helps but it’s still a bloody messy rodeo ride! I absolutely hate it! So I don’t use it but I’d really like to. Before I reach out to Perfect Pass again I was hoping to hear true on water experience with it. Just to be very clear here, I’m not slamming Perfect Pass. I’ve happily used their product for years and have experienced excellent customer service from them.
  4. @Kroeks , if you use the micro-just System for your findings, bump your boots bac on your ski by a notch incrementally until you get the radius of turn you want.
  5. @UWSkier, thanks. It seems that with support comes speed.
  6. @UWSkier, thanks for your response. What I’m finding is that with the whisper fin I can get the ski to turn well, but I’m finding that the ski isn’t carrying enough speed to stay in a good rhythm with the boat. I’m struggling to get wide and struggling to stay wide. Losing weight or getting a larger ski is the obvious answer but beer is soooooo good! Lol
  7. @UWSkier , just curious. Did you try the single wing first and then add the second one later? My question is, did you notice a difference between 1 wing versus 2 in regards to speed and support?
  8. @UWSkier, it sure does. Are you using one of the whisper fins? I’ve tried the boos forward but that seems to take away some of the flow for me.
  9. @Wish Jay was saying that for a bigger guy, he could try running the wing flat to add more support to the rear of the ski. And also an oversized wing ran flat will help add more support to the tail of the ski.
  10. Lpskier and thager… sooooper helpful! Thanks! Lol
  11. Eyepeeler, I looked on Schnitz’s website and didn’t see any. Would you be willing to part with one?
