  1. Garn, The style is the only thing that has to be the same. Each person can pick his or hers own neoprene color, so long as it is a stock color. So if dependent on what style is chosen by the group if Red neoprene is an option, then you could get Red. Email me at sales at h2oproshop dot com and I will add you into the email discussion if you are interested. Thanks TS H2OProshop.com Ride the Water!
  2. Than Yes, it was me who emailed you back. Been following you along on here. Sounds like its been more positive than negative so far. Glad you went and free skied. I think that will help you "feel" the boots moreso, than just slamming buoys and not really knowing what may be going on with the ski in relation to your movements. Hope it helped. Stay in touch and let me know how it goes. Thanks Tadd sales at h2oproshop dot com
  3. Horton, I swear I had nothing to do with the motivation behind the ransom pict. I PROMISE!!! Nothing at all with that pic. but... just wait till part 2 of the super top secret plan comes to life! TS
  4. Scot, I replied to your email on this. Not sure of the exact date for 2012 release, but should be in the next month or so. Also, I think I can get the Aftershock in the front zip for this special order, but will confirm when we place the order. Just need a few more people to waive the custom floatation surcharge. Thanks TS sales at h2oproshop dot com
  5. Hey guys, Still trying to fill up the list. Just a few details. The Extra Padding is in the back of the vest. That is the only place they can put it without compromising the flexibilty, etc. of the vest. You can get it in front zip, and I will have to check about the half rear zip, as I am not sure if with the extra padding they can do a half rear zip on it. You can email me with interest at sales at h2oproshop.com I have a file with about 5 people already and need at least 8 people. Lead time would be about 4 weeks. Once i get enough people we can go through and see what styles everyone likes. I will check with eagle to see if we could do different graphics or if we all have to use the same graphics. Graphics would be stock eagle graphics, unless you wanted to do custom, but there would be an upcharge with that, unless the whole group wanted the same custom graphic. Once I get a enough, I will email everyone together to work out the details. Thanks TS H2oProshop.com sales at h2oproshop .com 866.213.7993
  6. I know this is mainly a slalom forum, but if you are near a comp this Sat night, check out lanightjam.com. Bennetts puts on one of the best events of the year, and this year will surely be the best yet. Mardi Gras atmosphere, Night Jumping, and tons of extras. Yes, there will be some slalom too. Check it out for sure. You will want to go next year after watching it this year. LANIGHTJAM.COM. Thanks TS tadd at h2oproshop dot com
  7. JP,  There is no 100% safe binding out there and I think with any boot, you will find at least 1 person (if not more) that has had an issue with it. With Fogmans specifically, they are not designed to release in a total OTF/tip digging fall. The ski flexes into itself and tightens up the RUs, thus binding up the system. That being said, there are many many people who have used Fogmans for years, self included, and knock on wood, have not had any issues in them. I have used Fogmans for 12 years now and been just fine. I sell all the types of bindings out there, hardshell and rubber, and I have heard of injuries in every single type of boot out there. I have heard all the complaints about Fogman and heard of injuries in them as well. Most of the injuries I have heard of would have most likley happened in any binding system. (Hitting the buoy and smashing your ankle isthe #1 story I have heard) With Fogmans specifically, there is an "aftermarket" G10 carbon plate that assists in releasing in an OTF fall and there are quite a few people that swear by this plate. Just be aware, just cause you have hardshells it is not going to keep you from injuring yourself 100% of the time. Skiing is a inherently dangerous sport and there will be injuries. set up is key with Fogmans to make sure that it will release when necessary. I know you bought a G10 adapter plate and that makes set up much much easier. I am sure your friend has many good points about why he is not a fan of Fogmans. But I am sure I can find others who are not fans whatever other boot you can come up with out there today. Everyone has an opinion. Bottom line is, just do your best to ski safe, stay within your boundaries (to an extent) and take care of your equipment. I have learned in the last few years that if you do not think you will get outside the buoy and you may hit it, dont go for it. Not worth it. (I like walking too much! HA). Live to ski another day. That buoy will be there tomorrow. Have fun with the new set up. I think you got a used set up, so make sure the RUs are in good working condition as with everything else before getting out there. If you want to talk in more detail, give me a buzz. later TS tadd at h2oproshop dot com. 866.213.7993

Scott, I checked with Eagle and they said it may fit a "tad" tighter (Eagles words, not mine), but they didn't think it would be too noticeably different from the normal/standard vest fit. And yes, they do run probably a size smaller than other vests. They are made to fit very snug, and they will stretch. Eagles rule of thumb is that the first few times you put the vest on, you will need to suck in your gut, but after some useage, it will zip easier and fit better. Scott, maybe going with with an XL would be a good idea, unless after some useage, the large you have fit better. If you are interested, get me your chest and waist measurement so we can make sure. Dwolters, being that this is a "custom" order, if you get it and it doesn't fit, it would be hard to take back, but I dont want you to have something that you couldn't use, so I would work with you on it for sure. That being said, I will do my best and get as many measurements as possible to make sure this doesn't happen. Again, when you first get the vest, it will be very very tight. But it will stretch after useage. And marco, thanks for the shoutout. Good to hear, makes it all worthwhile. Let me know if anyone else is interested. Thanks TS H2Oproshop.com 866.213.7993 tadd@h2osmosis.com

JP, Before any discounts and if the surcharge is waived, Eagle vests run $134.95. Depending on the count, I will do a Group/BOS deal, just have to see what the tally would be. Scot, as far as sizing, I am a short guy, with a short torso as well, I dont think they are any longer than any other vest I have used. But I understand where you are coming from. I would size it out according to height, weight, chest size, waist size. Let me know and I will see where you fall in the chart. Thanks TS

Alright, I spoke to Eagle and got the details.  If we can get at least 10 people interested and good to go on a "extra padded" vest, then Eagle will waive the surcharge. I already know that: Gern,Richard Doane, DaveMac are for sure interested. If we can get a few more, we could make it happen to get the surcharge dropped. It would take 2 weeks to build the vests, and then shipped out right to you. Eagle only asked to keep it to one style of vest. It can be whatever color they make, but only one style. So, lets say the Bird of Prey... Comes in Red/Black, Neon/Black, Blue/Black, White/Black, Black/Black.  Let me know if you are interested. Could be the first BOS Group Buy. i would think Horton may want one, but I am pretty sure he has built in floatation without a vest. The more vests, the better I could do on the final price as well. Let me know Thanks guys TS H2Osmosis/H2oproshop.com 866.2137993 tadd at h2osmosis dot com

HO410 is right. Spoke with Eagle this AM. $30 Custom Floatation charge to get extra padding in it. Chuck from Eagle told me that the vests have 13mm padding front and back in them and he could bulk up the back of the vests to 23mil like they do with the womens vests. This way it would keep the front flexibility in tact. I am checking to see how many vests it would take to get the fee waived. If you are interested, post and I will see what I can do. As always, I will do my best to take care of all the BOS members, so we will see what we can get done. Seems as of now, just a few (2-3) would be interested. So let me know. (edited below cause I am an idiot)(meant to say Helium, but for some reason, was thinking Jet Pilot) Also, Gern, saw you posted about the Helium. We have carried them here in the shop, but they were never too popular. As well, the side zips rubbed arms too much. Helium wasnt too interested in hearing any of my thoughts about it as well. The wakeboarders liked them, so that is all they cared about. So be it. TS H2OProshop.com 866.213.7993 tadd at h2osmosis dot com
