  1. An anti-roll handle is in the works...
  2. Easier acceleration than the DV8 and more stable. But the turns still feel tight and deep. Happy to try and help with any specific questions.

  4. @Skichiro do you have the standard black Reflex shell or Super Shell? Thanks.
  5. @jhughes congrats! You got a good mentor in Shelby... Sorry for missing a new competitor on the dock to say good luck, hope to meet you at Nationals!
  6. @MISkier thanks buddy. We still have 6 spots open at Lyon. Then another one scheduled for September. Get in touch with me if you want to come out (Pete Shoemaker), would love to have you. Was a blast last year.
  7. Glad you enjoyed it... thanks for reading.
  8. @klindy nice talking to you. Glad that I was able to explain better than my poorly worded post. If anyone has questions shoot me a message, and I'll pass along my number to call.
  9. I was a judge when this took place. We took a quick look at Cole's 3 ball and agreed with the calls of 2.5 without stopping the boat for a formal video review. There was also an angle up that made it look okay. After closer inspection during the Video Challenge, it was deemed he center punched the buoy and submerged it. We had just come out of 3 rain delays and were trying not to hold the boat on calls as to have daylight for the finals... there were several other close ones that we did indeed review. No excuses though, we missed it; this was indeed a good challenge by JT. 13:01 reads that a Protest must be filed no later than 30 minutes after the results of the events are announced. But 13:02 states that a Protest cannot be made on a judgement decision, except noted in 13:04, which is a Video Challenge for Gates and Buoys. Here's the sticky part. 13:04 states that a Video Challenge must be made prior to the next skier going out. JT was on the dock getting ready to ski. He arrived right after his set, still wet. Judges do their best, but there will be always some subjectivity in calls, and mistakes. I think giving skiers the ability to throw the "red challenge flag" (NFL) is a good thing. But we still need to figure out the best process to this I think. I wonder if 13:04 should read more like 13:01 and give the skiers more time to challenge prior calls. FYI both Cole and JT were gentleman to me. My apologies for the long post.
  10. @Kimbymon and @MCO glad you enjoyed it, ladies! Thanks again.
  11. Thanks Ben! Hope you had as much fun as I did.
  12. @LoopSki my boy is about the same age and I put him on a Prodigy last summer. He's really liked the ski. If you decide to go that route and need any help getting one, just let me know.
  13. @wish I may have gone a touch long in that photo sequence, but the earlier my transition, the quicker & easier I can stand up after CL. Staying connected is key for the move as well (for me).

  19. I ride a 2018 67" Connelly GT and last week put a CG fin on it. I'm a shallow / long guy, and the numbers we settled on are 2.439" x 7.027" x 0.767" w/ 7 degrees of wing. Skiing 34 mph. A few things I've noticed: 1) I haven't found settings that absolutely don't work. No matter what, the ski ran buoys. 2) You can use more extreme numbers and ratios on the fin to push out more performance in whatever aspect you are looking to improve, without the usual large negative that comes with it. 3) It is far less sensitive than a standard fin. You can definitely be off by several thou in any direction, and not really notice much. I made a mistake with my clamp last weekend, and the fin moved around quite a bit during a tournament. But my scores remained the same for all 3 rounds. Another cool thing I feel in my setup personally is that the tail washes and slides through the turns because it's shallow, but then behind the boat it feels deeper. Kinda wild. With each set that I take on the fin, combined with the variety of settings we tested, I'm becoming more convinced it's the real deal. Let me know any questions.
