  1. Don't mean to hijack this thread but seems like a good concentration of knowledge/experience here... I have a 99 RLX with the carb Vortec 310 engine running PP classic. Is it worth it to upgrade to SG or SG with ZBox? Will I get anything close to a ZO pull with my carbed, cable throttle engine? Boat runs fine now, course times are generally right on, will I gain anything with the upgrade? Thanks in advance
  2. It was the impeller, the rubber was slipping on the hub. Thanks guys!!
  3. Good point about the slipping hub, I'll put a replacement in and try it. Thermostat was my next check but if it was the thermostat wouldn't it get hot and stay hot?
  4. So last night I noticed at speeds higher than 30 or so the exhaust note would change and temp gauge would climb fast. Got the boat back to the hoist and started checking things. Boat is a 2000 Response with Vortec 310 engine. - impeller is fine - trans cooler is not blocked - all hoses feeding the engine are not blocked - raw water pick up is fine At idle and low speed everything is fine and engine is cool, where do i go from here?

    Flip Cam?

    Any one have an opinion on the Xacti CG102 vs. the Playsport? Looking for a low cost, small camera for skiing along with every day use and have narrowed it down to these two.
