  1. Ive been on it now for about a month now used to ride a monza, so im best to try and compare it to that. Remarkably I find it quicker than my monza it carry’s the speed better and most deffo accelerates faster. But this could be due to it being a 67.5 and they reshaped it to be slightly wider than the standard red/blue. The 67.5 is one I reckon they have done the most work on. as they have suggested each size is reshaped being that Glen rides a 67.5 it’s the one they focused on the most. I find it is best with a particular technique that my monza style didn’t automatically work with. When dialled in you feel the ski turn underneath you and twist your hips if you’re new school, getting you early and wide for the next ball with minimal effort. Its like once initiated it takes over like on auto pilot? Although patience is needed if you close up to early you will end up narrow, this took me sometime to figure out. Quit forgiving and doesn’t mind too much if you’re over the back.     I don’t find much of an improvement on the turn but of side feels solid although I reckon this could be that I changed the settings that were taken of glens ski. The monza is quicker edge to edge but was unforgiving in chop and I was trying to set the sixam up so it felt like a monzas edge to edge.. Bad move on my part and went back to stock settings.    Im a little concerned about the finish of the ski maybe being a new ski I notice anything quickly. I ski on a fresh water lake and already I feel the surface of the ski roughened up?? Maybe me being paranoid. The ski maybe just suits me as im a large frame with a ragged style, its got me running consistent sets that my monza never gave me. The ski is a lot more solid than my monza and a lot less squirrelly. I compared it to the blue and red and the bevels are very different running longer and sharper although my untrained eye probably missed a lot.   Can’t really find fault with it…. YetAnyone elses feedback would be great. ÂÂÂÂ
  2. Hey All, Has anyone got any pointers or numbers for the sixam ss? Everytime I change the fin it gets better just worried that I am getting to far away from factory settings (what ever there suppose to be) that and binding pointer would be great as I have a hardshell plate that’s not comparable to any hole setting on a standard binding. Slightly worried in that my rear toe plate is all the way back on the maximum hole (due to the front plate) Am I the only person riding one or something? did see the post about the sixam but they all seem like early stage protos with settings compared to the red/blue version. Thanks JB with the whacked out settings!
  3. Dropped a one handed gate by mistake smoked the course...??`skied at a new lake and the run up was short didn’t get my back foot in till the 55s so thought going to have to generate speed quick time... so did what came natural, pulled as far as 2 ball and dropped the hips for the turn, driver thought I skied like that normally??Tried it again … what a mess!but I didn’t find it technical just do what comes naturally as if you were turning at 2 ball... don’t understand why it should be anymore complicated than that?Since then been wondering if I should change....
  4. went from my trusty 05, 67 monza to a new 67.5 sixam didnt even bother trying the radar. loved the sixam from the dock!
