  1. eddie_roberts_jr Posts: 402 Water Ski Industry Professional July 9 "Hey Flyboy, when you gonna do a flyover and wing dip over Radar? Long time no hear from!" Sorry Eddie, all my work has been east of here and unfortunately business is good. If I can get out there I'll do a low pass that'll push water! Love what you do! I still ride that white top strada 55 you built for me when i was relearning to walk.
  2. Come over to our side and you can fly this
  3. Do you actually fly the AN-124?
  4. I'm 230lbs+/- and I ski 34.2mph on A2. I've been heavier but that's about the max weight I would recommend at that boat speed. I need to just get serious and drop down to around 205lbs or lower. The ski would only get better I'm sure.
  5. As ski and boat manufacturers move forward in the endless pursuit of perfection they hit things that sound off in the industry like a tuning fork. The closed bow Malibu Response, the Goode 9100, the 2005 RLXi, the 2009 Monza with the A1 core, the 2009 Nautique 196, the white banner RS-1. Everything they do beyond that is either sideways or backward. The 2017 Lithium constructed Senate is absolute magic. I am SO overweight for this ski its not funny and it just continues to produce. I generate power. I am a hockey playing powerlifter with no extra time that loves to ski. I ride the 67" Lithium Constructed Senate and Eddie's mastery of ski design is evident in all aspects of this design. It is supportive, it turns HARD if you commit and it holds its line across course. If you are passive, apprehensive or find yourself in a bad position it will right itself at the drop of a hat so you can live to ski another day. I love it. It loves me back. If you are content skiing in the 22-35 range and that's what is fun for you, or that is all you have time for in your life, do yourself a huge favor and get this ski. It is the 95% solution for 95% of the skiing public.
  6. {from @bruce55 "i will tell u all.....I was NOT out of control. I am not a wild "hair on fire skier", so that opinion about this type of injury happening to only those type of skiers is not true." } I was driving the boat. What he just said couldn't be more true. Every pass that day was just like every other day; smooth, controlled, aggressive as you have to be if you ever hope to put the purple line on the pylon. The feel and sound of the fall, from the driver's seat, was completely benign and gave me no reason to mess up the lake by hustling back. That is until I saw the angle of his hand relative to his arm. I intend to ski with Bruce for a very long time so I'm already modding my handle before I get the lecture from him in person :))
  7. Froze my a$$ off riding the motorcycle to work today. Trying to encourage the sun to come out. The high was like 26 or something.
  8. I have no frickin' clue what it takes to lose weight anymore. This winter has been great for my strength training. I spent a ridiculous amount of time in the gym this winter, never been stronger. Problem is I have also never been fatter! loseit.com has me on a 1000 calorie a day deficit and I haven't lost a pound. I'm thinking professional help :)
  9. Promo'd one around the local INT circuit here in Ohio for the 2008 season. A very well built boat. Heavy, solid, and capable of a lot of different sports. Its one of those boats that can do everything pretty well, but is excellent at nothing. The convex hull has no transom hook so as a driver I had about a dozen different TAPS starting points memorized for all different speeds from 24-36mph depending on how many people were in the boat. It os also sensitive to side to side loading. You can see it in the wakes. At an INT this was the one boat that could pull every event with no excuses: Slalom, trick, kneeboard, and even wakeboard with no wedge and no ballast. It was a HUGE favorite for the less experienced wakeboarders because the wake around 18mph was solid rampy and not intimidating. For slalom the sweet spot is 28-38off. Longer than 28 there is a noticeable bump. Shorter than 38 there is a noticeable dent where the boat was.
  10. Happy birthday buddy! Raising a glass to ya right now.
  11. I'll probably have the boat at the Cincy boat show in January if I can work out the space issue. Give me a holler if you need a day pass.
