  5. It seemed April went thru 3 skis last season until switching to HO.
  6. Joe, What would you describe as stock position for a RTP, I havent ever seen a measurement for this, would it be center of the holes ?. I was told by the guys at d3, that the Nomad RCX was unlike the X5 in that bindings shouldnt be run forward of stock. They indicated that forward would put you off the seetspot, any thoughts?
  7. JD, Can you provide some advice for a 67", with regard to Binding and fin location. Also I am getting ready to swap over to a reflex front/rtp from a D3 rubber, do I move back or forward from stock?. Thanks in advance
  8. jay, was that late pullout with a one handed gate. ?
  9. As far as I know, yes, Aurian prefers to manufacture them that way. Wim was there, he didnt ski too much, he had been sick from a trip home.
  10. No, not the same one. I was skiing with him a couple of weeks ago when he was dialling it in, after his regular ski got damaged. The whole tip section, maybe the last 3 inches , is a seperate piece that he seals on and  tapes up.
  11. Yep, KLP is on an early A1 with monza graphics. It has the bat tail tip on it though. Chet is on a warp. His usual Warp got trashed by the airlines coming back from Texas Big dawg. The Warps have the tips cut off , Chet told me its something to do with letting the carbon flow/expand. ??. Chet then tapes the tip back on to prevent it filling up with water.
  12. " Ran in to 39 both rides tonight so something is going right. " Was that on your top secret stick ? /vanillaforum/js/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-tongue-out.gif

  15. Which Goode did the Fischer base their ski on ?. How do the two compare?
  16. John. Is the new Rs-1 a special lay up ?/vanillaforum/js/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-wink.gif
  17. Looks like the A1 is your current ride of choice /vanillaforum/js/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-wink.gif
  18. Ok, I drilled out the rivets from the release so that I could remove the bottom bracket. The boot will now move up and down some with the release locked. Should I put a piece of rubber under the heel of the boot to make up the gap. Without it, the boot does not sit flat on the heel. I didnt buy it new, so cannot really call Remi. I know Andy runs a layer of Bondo under his boot, maybe to ensure the bottom of the boot sits flat. Any ideas?
  19. Never skied on a Goode, but thinking about trying one of the older models. Can  anyone give me some insight into the 9500/9600/9700 models. I am 180-185Lbs skiing at 34 mph into 32 off. I see goode sells some of the older models on their outlet site, anyone have first hand experience. Thanks ÂÂÂ
  20. So John, what are you riding full time now?
  21. I have seen two styles of the 404 release. One has a green release and the mounting bracket goes across the back of the plate. The back of the boot appears to sit ontop of the bracket. The other possibly newer style has two individual mounting brackets, and so the boot would sit flat on the plate. It seems to me that the one style would actually lift the rear of the boot up some . Anyone have any ideas on which is preferable and why. ThanksÂÂÂ
  22. as new condition, inc shipping to lower 48.
  23. Chuck, What weight, height and line length are you. Does the 67.5 feel bigger than a 68?
