  1. Spray sleeve with a hard shin guard inserted inside on the rear leg. Speaking from experience. 16 + stitches before using the guard.
  2. That's a really unfortunate and costly mistake. The best advice we got before building our lake was from Will Bush. He said to be absolutely clear with what the lakes uses are during the application process. We had our attorney present when we met with the county to lay out our plan. The following spring when the lake was dug and we went to subdivide the property, the county engineer tried to reneg. Our attorney met with the commissioners to describe our previous meetings, and we were approved in about 5 minutes.
  3. @dsp "M4 and M5 old wrinkled dudes"? What is that supposed to suggest?
  4. Ron- you should have bought my Malibu. It went to the first person that looked at it.
  5. Wow, glad you got it sold. I have a 2001 Response with just over 1000 hours listed ar 14,900, and it hasn't sold yet. There's been interest though.
  6. I just say Ok Sweetie. My wife is my driver and she is awesome. It pays off.
  7. Looked at SIA again, and there is a 1999 response (hours not listed) for 15K, and a 2002 Malibu Sportster with over 800 hours for 17,500, so it seems like I'm in the ballpark. Regardless, I reduced the price to $14,900. I would rather sell it quickly than be a 2 boat owner for the summer.
  8. Thanks for the input guys. I'l reevaluate my price point. When I initially priced it, I based it on other boats of similar age, hours and condition, so I thought I was in the ballpark.
  9. Just reduced the price of this clean 2001 Malibu LX. Does the price seem fair at $15,500? When I originally posted it on SIA, 17K is what other similar boats/similar hours were asking. I don't want to sit on this another year, as I have a new (to me) 2010 SN 200 with 216 hours on it to play with now. I don't want to get busted by Horton for posting a long link, and don't know how to shorten it, but it is listing # 54462 at Ski It Again. Feedback is appreciated
  10. Two bad incidents for me. First was burying the tip at 2 ball at 35. Full Achilles tear. Surgery and 6 month rehab. Second was a fall in full reach at 2 at 35, which resulted in a full shoulder dislocation with torn labrum, bicep tendon and rotator cuff, surgery, and a 9 month rehab. I dont like 2 ball (LFF).
  11. Made and gave away handle guards for all who wanted one.
  12. The original post says 10" buoys. I would highly recommend going with the minimum size of 8" (7-7/8" actually). Smaller buoys = better safety.

@Vl782 I've got a 2001 Malibu LX open bow that I recently put on ski it again. It is fuel injected (340 hp Monsoon) and has perfect pass stargazer with Z box. Cant figure out how to link the actual Ski It Again page but here is the listing number. SIA54462
