    I spend less on my club membership than I do for a 4 day snow ski trip out west. I was looking at buying a lot on a lake and a boat when I got the opportunity to join this club. Comparing the cost of both options, it was a no brainer. Even considering the hour drive each way to the club. If you have the right situation, waterskiing is not all that expensive.

    Might have already been mentioned, but the RV market is a shambles right now too. Someone told me the other day that prices are being advertised "1/3 off".

    Do I have to hurt myself to prove I’m not giving up? I gave up playing basketball because I was constantly getting hurt, which was preventing me from skiing. Does that make me a quitter? That’s awesome if Lou has worked his way thru multiple injuries to get back to skiing at a high level, I wish I could ski somewhere close to that. But I’m guessing Chet’s point isn’t to ski with reckless abandon to show you are not quitting.

    23K views so far. They must have done something right. I'm happy the TWBC team made something that isn't a copy of the Flow Point work Marcus has done. I'm also happy to have some waterski content to watch as I get rained out today.

    @The_MSwould prefer a large family with lots of really young kids to buy the house.

    I would love it if TWBC could add fast forward tabs so you could jump to the 38 or 39off passes for each skier. That way, I'd have the option of skipping the easier passes and watch the money passes. It would shave off a ton of viewing time when I don't have all day to watch. But, I'd still have the option of watching all of their passes if I want to.

    I think it's impossible to talk for as long at Tony has to without using fillers like "uh". I was thinking Tony was actually cutting down on some of the fillers in this webcast. He seems to get better each webcast. I personally don't mind a few live broadcast goofs. Adds a little levity to the show. I'm still waiting to see one of the interviewer swear when they realize they forgot to turn the mic on. The volume on the interviews does need to be adjusted but sometimes you can only do so much with someone that has a soft voice.

    Thanks to this thread and having to be in the area last week, we had dinner on Tuesday. It was busy but no wait. With all the boat slips, I can see how it would be packed on weekends. Food was good and the beers on tap were good but not a lot of them. Loved the open air layout. The ski decor is well done, you could spend a lot of time just looking at all of the skis. Was surprised not to see more classic slalom skis.

    It took 3 months because the driver could only do 5mph max speed?

    Travelling for work increased drastically over the last 5 months. I have not mastered the art of getting a good workout in a hotel. I also have not mastered the art of heathy eating and drinking when entertaining customers and co-workers.

    @Than_Bogan @BKistler I don't think old slalom skiers (and pole vaulters) is the target market for this ski. :smile: I think 12 year old rippers think it's cool.
