  2. They are also missing Europe...
  3. I run the Short & Deep settings back home in cold water, 59ish and usually run 35off. Then I went to ski in Italy in really warm water about 86F and I had to work hard to even make 28off. After a couple of sets I changed to Long & Shallow and suddenly I didn’t have to work that hard and started to run 35 again. Has anyone the same experience when going from cold to warm water?

  5. Skifly.. Didn't think of that. Haven't been there for years! Thanks!
  6. Does anyone know where to place the bindings on Stiffy Longboards 85'? Thanks!
  7. @prettig Thank´s! Never tried to switch.. I have bigger problems to solve. :)
  8. I would like to have a few with @Horton‌ and @eleeski‌ discussing ski weight and ski design. That would be a pretty amusing evening. Tsixam
  9. I went from modified Wileys to Radar because I wanted something stiffer and I was happy with them but when they started to fall apart I decided to try double Reflex. First set was a disaster, couldn´t make 28 in 8 passes. Second set I cleared 2 passes. By the fourth set it was like I had been on them my whole life. I think I have more edge control and they are very comfortable. Tsixam
  10. First of all: Try to stay away from slack...easier said than done. Second: what @‌ski6jones said Third: Change between different handles. Tsixam
  11. Keeping the free hand low on the hip and try to ski the hip to the handle. It also helps trying to bring the handle in with a straight arm. Tsixam
  12. @MS would say: "Ballofspray rocks!"

  14. @Horton Exactly. That’s why I was asking about land exercises Tsixam
  15. This is a very interesting discussion! I have been stuggeling with stacked and COM for years but never done any dry training. Who of you practise land training and what are you doing? Tsixam
  16. @giddyup If I measure from horse shoe to horse shoe I have c/c 336 mm (sorry :=) ). It´s a bit further apart than I’m used to but it worked out just fine. They are so close that I just can slip in the front without getting stuck on the release clamp. Tsixam
  17. From the Starting dock. Tsixam
  18. I have been there several times. Last time was this may. It´s both a ski club and ski school. It´s easy to go there by car, about 1hour from Milano. It´s a great place, nice water and well protected. If you want to bring family or non skiing friends, there is a waterpark on the other side of the road. Genadi, Claudio and Fedele are great guys. Contact Genadi for booking at genadi@guralia.com. Tsixam
  19. I have no experience from the black Reflex but..Yesterday I mounted double white Reflex (coming from radar) on my AM6.0. First set was a disaster, couldnt make a single pass.. For a second set I moved one hole forward and it was a little bit better. Ran 2 full passes out of 6 @28. After a third set it was like I Always have been using Reflex. Ran 6 wide and early full passes @28. I am not looking back! Tsixam
  20. First ski set today. Baller index -47. Cold but fun! Tsixam
