    New Boat Day!

It is Glencove Marina! Yes we do, during the summer we have to be on the water at sunrise… we get about an hour to an hour and half of good water, then back to the dock for breakfast. Spring and Fall you can find good water most of the day if you know where to look.

    New Boat Day!

Ordered in May, went to the factory a few weeks ago. Picked her up today along with few ski passes. Water and air both 65. Can’t wait till next spring!
  6. I believe they are not allowed to order without an allocation. My dealership got one for model year 2021 and mine for MY 2024. Less than 250 to cover all the dealerships across the world… I guess it means some must go without if they aren’t in prime ski boat market, which Lake of the Ozarks is the opposite of prime ski boat market.
  7. Yeah, it takes about 8 days start to finish for a boat to make its way down the line. The factory runs 4 days per week for 10 hours a day. They have 3 or 4 (I can’t remember) prostar hull molds vs 8-9 molds per model of the other boats. There were 4 prostars in various states of finish and I’d guess well over 100 wake boats in process. They build 200-250 prostars per year and the factory has the capacity to finish 20 boats per day. My prostar is the first build allocation my dealership has received in 3 years.
  8. I love my vapor boot. As for sizing, I wear a 10.5 in running shoes and went with 11 in the vapor. The 10 “fit” but was very tight in the toe box. I did the heat mold as well.
  9. Will do! Here is what the computer showed when we ordered.
  10. The Wife and I made the pilgrimage to Vonore, TN yesterday to take a factory tour while our Prostar is being built. I highly recommend taking the time to do this. It was about 2.5 hours and we got to see and take pictures of every step of the process. Here are a few pictures we took of the assembly process and our new Prostar!
  11. Man. That is a fantastic solution! I love it and will be getting some of these for next season!
  12. Just listened to Joel speak on TWBC podcast. Tony asks him directly and Joel makes it seem that MC is on the same page that when a world record is attainable, it should be attained.
  13. I don’t think you’ll regret it. I love ours.
  14. Regarding the zero ball splash. It just took some trial and error to get the turn in timing down. I try not to make it too complicated and use it as a fun trading tool.
  15. Yeah, we have a level on the unit itself, but it’s rather small and it’s actually behind the CO2 magazine. So it’s kind of unusable after your set up. I prefer a lager level that you can place on the dash of the boat. Also, we don’t have much variation in the ski crew, so we figured out quickly where the 3 50lbs bags needed to be placed in our 92 prostar. We will have a new prostar for next year with MTS. I’m assuming we won’t need as much weight in the boat to help level it.
  16. I have one for use on lake of the Ozarks before it gets crazy in the mornings. You can see the splash very well. The only issues I have with mine is because of the seawall lined lake. It is very sensitive to not only side to side roll, but bow attitude as well. After my 2nd-3rd pass, a cove can get too choppy and if the bow rises at the right time, you could possibly hit a dock with the marker even if it’s calibrated correctly at 38ft wide.
  17. My family’s lake house is on Lake of the Ozarks… trust me fellas, it only gets worse.
  18. I would go for the senate. I feel the session and union are fairly similar. The 71 should work well for you as well.

    2024 boats

When I placed my order for a ‘24 prostar back in June. I was told no significant changes other than app accessiblity.
  20. Thank you… I was curious about that and my pro shop didn’t mention it. I was just strapping the bungee as tight as I could.
  21. Well, I answered my own question. 930 release and the classic slalom toe bar, plus the Vapor plate. When setting the tension following the instructions for @Horton’s video, I’m lower than reflex’s recommended setting. About a 3.5 instead of 5. I think it’s the “hybrid” nature of this boot that causes this. When I started at the recommended 5, the binding didn’t release at all and it felt like the liner portion was “releasing” like it does when attached straight to the ski. anybody else find this to be true? I’m pretty sure I didn’t mess anything up, just curious.
  22. Hey guys, just picked up the vapor boot and radar G10 plate from my pro shop. I’m going to order a toe bar and release from reflex. Does the 930 release work or do I need to find the older 840 model? Thanks!
