  1. @Horton It looks like your weather link is for Florida rather than Australia. Link for the weather in Melbourne Australia https://www.wunderground.com/forecast/au/melbourne
  2. I wish the Senate Pro came in a 66", would be a great ski!
  3. As @buechsr mentioned the tech is here now to do what 90% of us need a ski boat to do and the battery technology is increasing FAST. There will very soon be 100 kWh batteries that only weigh around 600 lbs and will charge from 20 to 80% in 15 minutes or less. The future is bright!
  4. @Horton When do you plan to start your Pineapple testing?
  5. @skibrain has the best solution and what I have heard works best, use your normal gloves or one size bigger with blue nitrile gloves under them. Also use a cooler full or hot water.
  6. I think it is unnecessary for most events since TWBC already allows viewers to comment on their live YouTube stream. If there are events (Moomba, Masters, other) that are lived streamed without a place to comment then it would be a good idea.
  7. Love your project! Will the slalom lake be up and running this summer?
  8. Listen to @jnan66 and his doctor friend, deep hard massage perpendicular to the tendon every day for about 10 minutes and it will go away.
  9. Give the 68" HO Syndicate Omega Max a look/try, very surprised no one has mentioned it.
  10. @skinut Great to hear of a lake going in close to Utah. How close are you to this https://willowlakesutah.com lake project in Logan Utah?
  11. @skinut Where is your new lake being built?
  12. @Sedge Any plans to offer handles strung with spectra?
  13. @Chris Rossi Those handles do look nice and are reasonably priced. Do you know if Radar plans to offer a 12" curved (ARC) option? Spectra?
  14. @mike_mapple That is/was the plan with my current Camaro Blacktec Zero but I'm getting cold feet worried that if I cut it just below the knee it will make the seams weak and they will start to split. From the factory Camaro uses a little patch of material at the bottom of the seam that is glued on the inside to strengthen the seam and prevent it from splitting.
  15. I agree with @h2oSkiJunkie that the S-Lines X-Series is the best rope currently on the market. I started using the X-Series mid summer, before that I was using Masterline for 5+ years, before that I used In-Tow.
  16. I don't get that much water down my neck while floating in the water with my vest on but that is an issue for many suits. Getting water down the neck is something Stokes has addresses it their latest Superflex Pro suit with its redesigned neck closure, combine that with a dry zipper like Camaro and you would virtually stay dry.
  17. I had high hopes for the 1.5mm HO Syndicate Dry-Flex suits when they first came out, one more smooth skin suit to compete with Camaro and Stokes. What I have found from owning a HO Syndicate Dry-Flex is it lets more water through the zipper than Camaro and uses just a little stiffer 1.5mm material that does not flex as much as Camaro. All three of these brands (Camaro, Stokes, HO) that offer smooth skin are the best option for us water skiers since they eliminate evaporate cooling which is why they are so warm while being so thin/lightweight and flexible. I personally would love to see Stokes and HO offer a dry zipper which makes a huge difference by turning these wet suits into almost dry suits since the zipper is the main way water gets in. The other option I would love Camaro and HO to offer is the 3/4 length leg that goes just below the knee which is what Stokes has going for it.
  18. The 1.5mm Camaro Blacktec is still hard to beat and now they offer one with a dry zipper, no more cold water leaking through the zipper. I do love the 3/4 leg length offered by Stokes but at 1mm they are not as warm as the 1.5mm Camaro. I find the 3/4 length leg (just below the knee) of the Stokes easier to get on and off, has no material to get in the way of your boots compared to full length suit, and you never get water up the legs during starts like you can with the mid thigh length suit. For me the ultimate suit would be 1.5mm smooth skin 3/4 length with a dry zipper. O'Neill makes good stuff but they don't offer a full smooth skin neoprene suit which is a must, without it you get evaporative cooling making the suit noticeably colder compared to one of the same thickness with smooth skin.
  19. Hopefully the Pista01 ski boat that @arturonelson is involved in works out. Looking at https://alahua.mx/blogs/noticias/pista01 is shows a base price of $79,000.
  20. Sure Path is also working on self driving correct?
  21. I personally don't like the head-to-head format which often leads to the second skier just skiing to 1/2 buoy beyond the first skier then stopping. What I would like to see is the leaders pass superimposed and synced on the current skiers pass so you can see directly see how the two compare.
  22. The 66" Wide Ride is a big ski, easily compares to a traditional 68".
  23. Video of Will Asher running 39' at 34mph on the Syndicate OMNI. I heard it was a 64" Syndicate OMNI. @owennibley What size is the CX Superlite do you have?
  24. For low maintenance electric will be hard to beat.
  25. With Nautique I think your want the tab to the right when looking from the back?
