    Even wakeboarders hate surfers. Our lake has a weight restriction which pretty much prevents any v drive after 2013 from getting put on our lake, and has outlawed surfing. But the damn tri toons weigh just as much with 12 “fat sacks” on board and all they do is cruise at surfing speed anyways!

    My kid is 4 almost 5 and I think he’s about ready to try a slalom. He’s still pretty small. 43” tall and only 40lbs. Im leaning towards the smaller TRA, but think it’s too big for him still. I got the 5mm rope for him and it made a big difference on his 2 skis. He’s getting mini course buoys on the right and the left boat guide. He’s having an absolute blast on the water. He loves to act like he’s on jumpers and stomp his skis around and jump the wake.

    I see going first as an advantage. I feel like water conditions are usually best in the morning. And also as the last rounds go they are the first ones done so they can leave at a more reasonable time for travel.

    @jgills88. Have you tried to fly with this bag yet? I May have to fly with my jumpers for the first time this spring and seems like the oversized fee for the length is like $150-$200. Wondering if shipping is a better option?

    I have an HO top and a Camaro blacktec full suit. The HO is nice, easy on and off. Seems thicker/more durable than the Camaro. The Camaro is more flexible but It feels very fragile. Make sure your finger nails are trimmed and watch it on docks or it will tear. I was amazed with the Camaro first time I used it, never had a wetsuit keep me so “dry” and warm. I would recommend either product. Ive only used the top a couple times but on my second or third season with the Camaro.

    Can you do 540B, 540F, rev 540b, rev 540F or does it have to go 540B, f, R540b, 540F, B, R540F?

    Love it! Didn’t get down to nationals until Thursday and they were all gone, really wanted to see one in person.

    I don’t know when the results will be posted. Ali Garcia beat Anna gay in womens slalom, Nate beat Cale burdick in mens slalom. Lauren Morgan won womens jump, and Freddie won mens jump. I think Anna won trick as well but not sure. Don’t know about mens trick either. Hope that helps.

    I think Dano does a great job. Brings a little liveliness to an otherwise boring call. He could do better on the trick terminology. My biggest complaint of the broadcast is no rewind feature.. would love to watch the mens ski but now I can’t? Do replays get posted anywhere? What happened with Freddie?

    I’m right handed and right foot fwd. kick left foot/ left foot dominant.. I also wakeboard and trick ski left foot fwd.

    Same height each time. I’ve hit kickers on a wakeboard before so I wasn’t to nervous about it. Just need to work on controlling those big jumpers.

    I hit the mini jump and big jump for the first time at Bennett’s this year. Huge confidence booster just getting comfortable on the skis. Landed all 3 off the mini and then 2/3 off the big jump. It was a blast.

    Jet skis, pontoons, fisherman… waters glass, until you put your ski on and they all come out of no where!

    How come I can listen to your episodes and figure it all out in my head. But when I go out to ski I can’t make my body do it! Great podcast really enjoy it.

    Hey guys, asking here bc it’s an active thread. I have a 02 196 with the gt40. Stargazer version 8. Planning on upgrading to 9. But wondering if the zbox is worth the upgrade. We generally go out on a friends boat with zero off but I’d like to start getting ours out more. I know it has the letters like zero off but how much more control is the zbox doing over the standard perfect pass? Also saving this thread for all the great setting advice. Thanks
