  1. I was just wondering if anyone else would like to see Horton test the new D3 ION lll
  2. IMHO find a way to test ride a D3 ion2 and for your size and weight try a 68”.
  3. I was on HO v type r I did like that ski , tried a Denali was not for me tried Radar vapor build I thought it was ok faster than the ion but much less predictable. Where do you ski I believe there was a fairly big difference between the v type and the R. To me the ion2 rides high and is very easy to ski the turning and edge holding is awesome, but you should always test ride before you purchase.

  5. I switched to a 67” ion 2 last summer, the ski is awesome best thing I’ve ridden!
  6. Drew Ross does some lessons up in Muskoka and they still do lessons at Bush’s.
  7. @sagilbert @drew is right he got me to try the D3 ion2 . It’s the best ski I’ve owned had an amazing summer most consistent scores. I’m 5.7 at 160 lbs and I’m riding a 67”. Do yourself a favor and test one.

  9. @Broussard what’s the deal with the 6 liter?
  10. @BraceMaker I drive his boat a lot and it’s definitely idling super high the PP tach closely matches the factory tach.
  11. I got lucky the release didn’t release the only thing that saved me was the heal cup broke and I blew out sideways. I still end up with a sprained ankle but consider myself very lucky it could have been a lot worse. We are heading to Alabama Shores next April and stopping to see Mike and get the MOB setup. Thanks everyone for sharing your thoughts.
