  1. I have to think he posted that as a joke.
  2. They look exactly the same as the Malibu ones but +$50 a piece.
  3. Malibu turn down tips, ran like this about 50 hours last season, used silicone to install with thru-bolt fasteners. No issues whatsoever. A lot of people on teamtalk were suggesting I use 5200 sealant, which is absolutely not necessary.
  4. "When I teach edging, I usually just say to have fun with it!"
  5. Its motivating to collect the metrics on what you've done and how you'd like to improve. Not ashamed to say its fairly important to me so I can manage personal goals day in day out.
  6. Agree, I wore my apple watch playing hockey the other day to see what it would read after an hour on the ice. It recorded almost no activity, I think it was 65 calories burned and just a couple minutes of elevated heart rate.
  7. Can anyone comment what the minimum gopro required to get decent footage? Or would it be better to buy a iphone 6 on ebay for $40 to get a camera with no stabilization?
  8. What modification did you do to it? I bought a ski-doc the other day. I have a gopro 6 from back in the day, not sure if this thing will work at all, probably going to have to upgrade.
  9. As someone who just started skiing the course last year (with no coach) I had to laugh at this because I pretty much try to ski a PB every time I go. I hope this doesn't take us off topic, but for me, I don't get to do anything other than free ski 80% or more of the time, so when I get to take a few sets, I really am not sure what to do for passes to practice. All of this is at 15-off. I usually start with just running 30mph which has always been easy for me. From there I bump my way up to 36, which I am scrambling and late to every ball unlike 34.
  10. Thanks, that is helpful. Pretty much a no-brainer for me next year I think.
  11. In regards to online coaching with T Winter, without trying to be too harsh or anything, how well does the instruction go beyond "shoulders back, hips up, pull through the wakes, okay that'll be $20"? Anyone care to give a little bit better of a review?
  12. LRB 5069 proposal apparently, at least for WI. Has not been released yet, not surprised about any of this. Makes me nervous that skiing is associated with them despite wakesurf heavy language used in the proposal.
  13. I'll be sure to pay this forward somehow, thank you, I really appreciate this!
  14. Thanks yeah I think it really does depend on the brand, but I do understand the larger size being easier to ride for beginners.
  15. Is this because of ability level? Just asking because Every size chart I see, 44 would be too much ski.
  16. Looking to buy my first trick ski, something around 42”, I am 5’11” 160lb. My current experience level is next to zero so I am looking for something used right now as long as it isn’t some vintage museum piece. Anyone have something they’d be willing to sell?
  17. Dang was really hoping by “bent” they meant like the ML ergo roll.
  18. Dang, nice thread. I was really considering submitting a video to Joel Howely, but not so sure now.
  19. After I saw this thread, I went out seeking a used Goode Powervest and wow you guys are not kidding about this, it works awesome. Found one for $300. The straps take 100% of the load out of your shoulders, so I went from not being able to ski probably for the rest of the year, to really having no worries almost.
  20. @keithh2oskier I am pretty sure this is exactly how I dislocated my shoulder, it was more the impact of hitting the water with my arm extended in an odd position rather than being ripped out by the handle or something. Honestly its hard to tell in the split second that it happened.
  21. As someone <30 who just dislocated my right shoulder, I am happy that a product like this exists. Small price to pay for potentially not being able to ski again, down the road.
  22. As soon as I signed in it said that this website was involved in a data breach, not sure if that is actually true. Thank you for starting mobile, I love ski-it-again and use it all the time. Also donate yearly or more depending on how much stuff I sell, everyone should do the same!
  23. @T-fromTO What payment method did he choose to use?
