    Fractured my knee early September when the binding didn't eject in a crash. Otherwise we'd be skiing still with drysuits.

    That makes sense from a hardcore skier perspective. From a 30000 ft view these boats have their place.... evidenced by even the small V drive boats outselling the hardcore ski boats year after year.

    On this clever long range drone shot you can clearly see how far behind the bump she is. For a small percentage of the individuals on this board this is a perfect boat for them.I ski behind a 21' Sport Nautique with PP and Zbox. It's the definition of a crossover boat being that the running surface is the same as the Super Air Nautique of the same vintage was. When people complain about the size of the wake I tell them to ski faster ;)

    yup! unskiable windy. Pulled out the trick ski to play around on because nobody in their right mind was slaloming that day. The times posted above were against the wind. Times posted below were with the wind. It had to have been 20 mph gusting to 35+ right down the lake.

    Just a heads up for you guys that are fine tuning. Make sure that your linkage setup is tight and throttle return spring is adequate. You can chase timing issues with software for days but if your hardware is the problem you’ll keep beating your head against the wall. I got my setup installed this week. It was too windy to ski but did a bunch of timing through the course. Three event with zbox seemed to time out amazing.

    I said 30s but want to say that these older skiers are badass. As many M6 skiers ran into 39 as M3 at the 2019 US Nats.

    I have a friend in this situation... he has a 6.0 indmar cadillac 385hp engine/trans/wiring out of a 2006 Prostar sitting on the shelf. Boat is irreparable but have all the interior, gauges, etc. What would you do with it? I dream of doing a 90-94 prostar swap. Strip it down and run a 2400 lb boat with 385 hp! 6.2 lb/hp vs a new prostar with the big engine at 7.3 lb/hp Problem 1: it looks like a zero off swap on a 6.0 is virtually impossible Problem 2: spray at -35 headwind is apparently intolerable on this generation of 190? I've just scratched the surface of reading about trim tab install to knock down spray vs a bondo "hook" on the bottom of the hull. Thoughts???

    I used to do exactly that with around 30 gallons total .... but changed how I handle it now. I have a large rubbermaid bin WITH LID that holds a total of 4 "5 gallon" jerry cans. I keep it inside the back of the SUV. I only have a 10 minute drive and with the lid it keeps the fumes down. I despise having to put the hitch carrier on and then strap down the jugs.     Looks like a great slalom tug. First order of business: get the trailer bearings serviced (repacked.) Second: Make sure the engine is ready to go... It says regular maintenance was performed. If that means impeller and oil changes that's a good start.... but you need to look into fuel filter, trans fluid, spark plugs, distributor cap/wires. Then next step will be perfect pass (preferably 3 event with z box if you're running the course.) Congrats that's a beauty of a boat and will last you a LONG time.
