  1. I have had my slot caliper for around 10 years now and it still works fine.
  2. If everyone including all manufactures would just use a slot caliper problem solved. https://slotcaliper.com
  3. @The_MS Before this year when was the earliest ice on? Is your lake completely frozen or just in parts?
  4. @lpskier interesting...so if they are that different rope to rope then I still think everyone who bought a 2019 should be given a 2020.
  5. Great information @mastercraftmelbourne
  6. Who is "we" @Jtim3032? Self driving ski boats should be here now, we have the technology like cars that can see the lines on the roads a boat could see the guide buoys.
  7. Sounds like everyone that bought the 2019 Optimized rope should be given the new 2020 ML rope...
  8. Everyone needs to know and ski at their level, just because the risk of injury increases with speed does not make it right to not let others ski at 36 mph and get full credit for it. True Zero Based scoring allows anyone to ski up to 36 mph and get credit for it, those that think they can get a better score at 36 mph go for it realizing the increased risk of speed.
  9. I agree with @BrennanKMN about drivers, there needs to be a way for any owner and their invited guests to drive the boat.
  10. @Such_a_brett Love what your are doing, just wish it was in Utah County! You have obviously done your market research on Cache County, go with your gut.
  11. Not for me since I don't live close to the area but I'm sure there are people who do. :)
  12. Let me get this right @Horton, are we talking about the first ever man-made ski lake built in the world? Nothing is worth doing unless done right, especially this lake! Take everything off of the bottom of the lake then do as suggested by @Bruce_Butterfield and use 18" x 18” square 4” thick concrete blocks with stainless steel eyebolts and pvc holes on opposite corners to pin to the bottom with rebar. Yes this is some work and expense but I'm sure you could get it all done for free if you just ask then let those that do the work ski for free for a negotiated period of time.
  13. I think for most it is the shortest pass you can run clean with a tight line, so one or two passes back from the shortest pass you can scrap out on a good day.
  14. @Horton how much do you make on referrals? I think SuperFat is on the pricey side but would like to try it.
  15. The only way it will sell in the US is if it has soft wakes, tracks well, and is priced $10K+ less then the big three.
  16. Thanks @Chad_Scott, great information for many but likely hard for the average driver to do.
  17. Thanks, keeping the pylon in the middle and pointing the back of the boat slightly towards the skier as they hook up at the finish of their turn would give the skier a tight line and good acceleration towards the next ball.
  18. @Horton and/or @Chad_Scott are you attempting to have the back of the boat pointed towards the skier as they hook up at the finish of their turn?
  19. Please explain more @Horton. When the skier is coming around lets say the one ball you are easing the wheel to the left away from the skier correct?
  20. I use Google Forms which you set up just once to input any data you want then it is saved in Google sheets which is like Excel. Once set up it is super easy!
