Swim cap works well for me. Cheap and if it comes off, it floats (get a bright color). Keep a couple in the boat for other skiers to use if needed.

I have a 2007 Malibu Sunscape for sale. great family boat, great ski boat, open bow. But it is a V drive. Would you like more info? I am in SE Wisconsin. Lots of room, lots of power, lots of storage. 365 hrs, 340 hp

I am an open water skier and have a Connelly Concept ski, 8 years old. It has the fastback bindings front and rear. These are the white ones that have the hinge clamp on the back and strings on the front. Connelly suggested the Tempest binding. Anyone have any experience with the Tempest bindings? Is this a comfortable binding? Any other suggestions?

So many good responses to this, thanks to everyone for the open mind and opinions. I will let you know what I choose. Leaning towards the MC, large motor, no tower. If it ever warms up here in SE WI, I will test run the MC.

2019 Prostar or Response? Looking for opinions. I am a slalom and barefoot guy. Response seemed slow when I tested it. Slalomed only. Top speed was not even 40. I did not barefoot behind it. Loud engine, standard motor. Do I go larger motor and get more out of it or prop it on the Response? Do I go Prostar with standard motor or upgraded motor and pay big bucks? I heard the larger MC motor is awesome with a hefty price tag. How about side spray for either for using the boom, anyone have an opinion? Does the side spray defeat the boom?
