  1. @Chef23 I think that’s the route I’m going to go. It’ll speak volumes for sure. I’ll report back!
  2. @DanE It looks like is can adjust BUT the sole of the boot is glued to the plate so when I go to adjust it back, it brings the sole forward, leaving a gap at the heel end. :/
  3. @Than_Bogan Well I'm certainly one of those who didn't realize just how big a deal it is to change bindings. I'm learning now! @skibrain Based on your pic, my front binding measures at 30-1/4". If I move it back 1/4" to be on spec, I run into the "toes issue" that I mentioned earlier. I have my rear binding set all the way back too, so no more adjustment there. Could I have a situation here where these bindings just won't work for me? I sure hope not. Ugh.
  4. @jayski I feel rock solid on edge through the wake on my KD. On the EVO, I feel like I'm being pulled forward. @Steven_Haines I don't have a caliper (I obviously need one) but I haven't touched it since factory. @AdamCord That's a great idea. I think I might start by just swapping the rear binding. If that solves the problem, then great. If not, I can then swap the front. Depending on water conditions, it may be a day or two before I can experiment.
  5. @vtmecheng I measured and it's spot-on to the manufacturer recommendation of 30" for my 67" EVO.
  6. @jhughes I checked that measurement and it's spot-on for my 67" (30" between). Here are a few pics I just took. Not sure if they are of any help but figured I'd try. Oh, and I haven't touched the wing. It's still at the factory setting.
  7. Hey Gang. I very recently upgraded from my trusty old KD7000 to a new D3 EVO. I'm struggling big time to stay on edge through the wake. I have no problem on my KD. I am inexperienced with making adjustments to skis. Do you have any basic recommendations for me to try (one change at a time of course)? FYI, I bought XL front and XL back T-Factor bindings for the EVO. Even then, I had to move the front boot all the way forward so that the toes on my rather large size 13 rear foot wouldn't hit the back of the front boot. Make sense? Thanks in advance for your help!
  8. @epnault This is fantastic, Eric. Thanks so much for putting it together. I wonder if there is a "best practices" section or thread where you can post this. I'll be there are many others who could benefit from it.
  9. @epnault Looks like a pretty good setup. Do you happen to know the center-to-center measurements for front and back?
  10. @skimtb Thank you for pointing me to this thread. It's VERY helpful. For others here. I was having the exact same issue as described in this thread. I moved my bunks to 54” and 60” and it worked great. All is well now. Thanks again.
  11. @skihacker Ahhhhhh, gotcha. I'll make sure I'm clear of it. Thanks for the tip.
  12. @skihacker I'm not quite following you. What are you referring to as the clamshell?
  13. @skimtb I didn't know there are manufacturer guidelines for support. It certainly makes sense. I am going to look into taller support brackets and move the bunks out to the "flat spot". Hopefully, that will put me in good shape. Oh, and I forgot to mention that my Shore Station is 6 years old.
  14. @skimtb Here are a few pics. One shows that i have the bunks set one notch above the highest setting. The other pics show where/how the bunks are hitting the hull near the rear. I'll checkout the link. Oh, and haha on the "loud" joke. Everyone's a comedian!
  15. Hey Gang, I finally got my '17 ProStar in the water and over to my Shore-Station. Now, I'm struggling big time with bunk spacing. I can't seem to achieve the correct width and height (for fin clearance over cross-bar). It shouldn't be this hard. If I go with 54" upfront and 60" in the back (which was recommended to me), it (I think) will make the boat sit a little lower (vs. closer-spaced bunks) and may cause the fins underneath to hit the crossbar when entering the Shore-Station. I also want to be sure that the boat is properly supported. Has someone cracked this nut and would be willing to enlighten me on the best way to go about this? Thanks in advance for your help!
  16. @wettek69 Spot-on, Greg. Going way back to my original post where I mentioned "a bit more rumble", I think some folks got a little carried away with the critiquing. I'm sorry I asked the question in the first place (at least on this Forum). Geeeeez.
  17. @Orlando76 I earned the prestigious Triple Panda Award last week for the same reason. I'm a car guy and want anything I own with a V8 in it to sound a certain way. I have Corsa Xtreme and an X-pipe on my C7 Vette and it sounds amazing (IMO). I don't want my ProStar to be quite that aggressive, but close.
  18. @Orlando76 Todd - I see that you have a '93. I had a '93. I sold it in '15. I miss that boat. The WOT sound on that '93 is what I'm going for here.
  19. Oh you guys crack me up. I'm an open water skier in northern wisconsin. My boat won't see any tournaments. Oh, and here is a clip of my car exhaust. I can't help it. It's a sickness. https://photos.app.goo.gl/YApcL5FiX6trLQ6V2
  20. LOL. Correct!! My boat will never see a tournament. I'm an open water skier in Northern Wisconsin on a VERY lightly traveled lake. P.S. I love the GIF. Here is what my car exhaust sounds like. It's a sickness of mine. https://photos.app.goo.gl/YApcL5FiX6trLQ6V2
  21. Has anyone here modified the exhaust on a 2014-2019 ProStar? The factory exhaust is way too mild for my taste. I don't want to make it obnoxious and offend everyone on the lake, but I do want to give it quite a bit more rumble than it has now. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    ProStar colors

@Horton YES! Here are a few interior shots. I need back seats since we do a fair amount of cruising around
  23. @skiinxs Maybe @MarkSAU means "Tow-er". ;-) I'm jealous of all that storage! Nice building.
