  1. @bananaronI have about 10 sets on my 13" bent; nice grip/feel, hope it lasts a long time cuz I really like it!
  2. I'm just a 15 off, 30-32mph guy, but the syndicate & D3 are not going to be happy at your current speeds. I would start free skiing at 30-32mph with your coach guidence, then may no slower that 28 in the course. You are probably also seeing monster wakes at those slower speeds. I am on an HO 2017 Superlite CX; I can run the course at 28mph but way more effort than 30, and 32 a fun spped when I'm skiing well.
  3. @MitchellM you might ask over at Malibucrew if you have not done yet - lots of posts about guages over there
  4. Wow, 5 yrs goes by fast! Now 65, kids have moved out (HOORAY) got a new left hip Jan '23. Lost our lease at Bow but still love skiing at HT. I look forward to visiting BOS several times a day - you guys/gals are my ski family and I am privileged to be part of this very special group. Maybe someday you will teach me to ski!!
  5. @S1Pitts I took the survey lliving in WA - there was a place to select something like "out of state" when they asked for an adddress
  6. And really easy on gas too!
  7. Got up to HT Sat & Sun in between rain storms; 54w/50a, supposed to see sun again Sat!!
  8. @MearlyI was waiting for someone to make that comment - in '95 my Sanger was approx $20k and my HO VTX was a closeout steal at about $200. Stuff costs more, I get it.
  9. Front or rear ankle injured??
  10. Today's the 1st time I tried it, and it's the 1st time I felt like I wasn't guessing where to start the pull. Excited to ski tomorrow!
  11. @Gale Kwow, didn't take them long to steal my design!!
  12. @101driver Store the aquaseal in the freezer in a zip lock, it lasts a long time. Next time try the Gearaid Seam Grip, I like it better than aquaseal. My friend skied with these gloves into 32 off today and says the grip is fine. He has Raynauds and his fingers are much happier
  13. Tried the left 55-one ball recommendation today. Best gates in a long time for this 15 off oldguy skier - thanks!
