  1. How do we add sites to this if we are apart of clubs that are not listed but would welcome new skiiers?
  2. Sent an email over to Mike at swerve! Thanks for the suggestions!
  3. Hey ballers, I'm going to be at an internship for 3 months at the Oak Ridge National Lab in Tennessee. I'd love to be able to get some sets in this summer and don't have a problem working for pulls. (or bringing the standard tank of gas) Is there anyone who belongs at any of the clubs in the area? The closest I've found via USA Waterski Clubs and the Google Earth places to ski was near Nashville. I don't mind driving a couple hours if I have to but ideally there's something closer to get more than one set a week in. Thanks in advance!
  4. Another +1 for the Omni, HO gave it out this year at College Nationals for the best spirit award and it has done wonders for the younger guys on the TAMU team in the course and those just learning to chase boys and proper form. It's also really forgiving which I miss a ton about my old open water ski.
  5. This boat seems good for tournament specific use but where it would really excel is for the complete watersports water family with a course on the lake. I don't know anyone who wants to do too many more than 4 hard sets in a day; sometimes you just want to bring your non-skiier friends out and surf/wakeboard/watch the kids do their thing (*alleged room for 9*) and spend the entire day on the water. I could never sell my whole family on a SN before because it didn't accommodate everyone, now it would!* *You know; in theory
  6. I've been loving getting more involved and into the 3-event sport during and after college but I'm learning most people have another thing they love just as much. I've seen 3 gun shooting, Pole vault, and other activities mentioned. My other sport is Triathlon. What do you do?
  7. First time I've had regular-ish water access in my life. If I wasn't hooked before I am now. Met some incredible people too!
  8. +1 for the above. However, it can also be a good thing. If there are any show ski outfits in your area call them up and see if any of the older guys are getting out or you can pick up a set. They might say no, but if you're getting into show skiing reaching out kills two birds with one stone.
  9. Yes! This type of thing is exactly what I'm looking for! I will follow up with you! And if anyone else has any ideas just drop a line or a comment. I really appreciate it!
  10. I'm a Nebraska transplant to Houston, on Co-Op so I'm still in college. How do I get my hands on a set of jumpers so I can practice without selling a kidney? Anything I'm able to track down is $1000+, sometimes for skis I think are going to break as soon as I jump. I'm still learning to cut and so crashes are inevitable which makes me shy away for pressing people to let me use their nice gear, especially when everyone around me is jumping 100+. I've heard the "refresh ski-it-again every hour" but I'm thinking there has to be more than that. Help! and thanks in advance!
